Ballard Emblem Club #216 club President, Thia Maris presented Ballard Elks #827 outgoing ER, DeeAnn Evans with a donation from our club. Our club also provided an assortment of desserts for the Officer Installation. Congratulations to New ER, Miron Dupont and all new Officers.

A little known fact but today is National Vietnam War Veterans Day. The Vietnam War Veterans Recognition Act was introduced as an annual event in 2017. It recognizes the date March 29th, 1973 that American troops withdrew from the Republic of Vietnam. If you know a Vietnam War Vet, today is a great day to Thank them for their service! And always honor all Vets & current Service Members who stand ready to protect our American freedoms! 🇺🇸

Today is Bertha Eriksson’s funeral.
I would like to confirm Bertha’s Mass will be held at St. Alphonsus in Ballard on Monday, February 2nd at 11:00 a.m.
The Mass will be followed by a reception in the Wilson Room, located across the street from the church.
