Your Gateway to the Pacific Northwest Tech Community
Founded in 2013 by Brett Greene and Red Russak, New Tech Seattle quickly became the fastest growing ‘Meetup’ event in both #Seattle's and meetup.com’s history. Shortly after launching in Seattle, Portland (PDX) New Tech joined to create New Tech Northwest. Given that success, New Tech expanded in 2014 to Bellevue-Kirkland, on Seattle's fast-growing Eastside. We added New Tech Tacoma to the family in 2015. New Tech is proud to be the largest ongoing monthly events in the area, having over 600 monthly attendees and over 35,000 active members.
Each month at our events, new technology is presented from startups, as well as major Pacific Northwest companies, to our members in a fun and engaging format.
New Tech is the place where you'll always make great connections, enjoy some tasty, after work snacks and beverages, and learn about new companies doing cool things. You'll also discover the people, partners and resources to help you to level up your career or your company. We welcome techies and non-techies, alike, to all of our events!
Past presenters have ranged from early stage startups to enterprise level Seattle inspirations including T-Mobile, Moz, Appature, Decide.com (acquired by eBay), Buteeq (acquired by Priceline), Zumobi, Simply Measured, Avalara, Apptio, Killer Infographics, GoDaddy, ebay, Redfin, Expedia, Julep, Microsoft, Zillow, Zulily (acquired by QVC), Nordstrom, PayScale and Amazon.
This collaborative event expands to the broader community to contribute advice from local experts to entrepreneurial projects, companies and non-profit organizations. New Tech events are powered by important sponsorships and partnerships from area businesses and organizations, such as Amazon AWS and Alexa, Microsoft, T-Mobile, Geekwire, ebay, OfferUp, Google, Car2Go, Lyft, WTIA, University of Washington CSE Department, Galvanize, Impact Hub, and WeWork.
Experience New Tech's signature monthly events to tap into the local tech innovation scene and meet people who are passionate about startups, co-working spaces, meetup groups, accelerators, and technology-driven companies of all sizes and groups who are doing great things for the community. This isn’t a typical meetup event. We are your vibrant community!
