Our second Meet a Mortician Member Mixer was a hit! Banister Advisors treated us to a beautiful room in the historic Stimson-Green Mansion in Seattle's First Hill neighborhood, where we gathered with 27 PMA members and their guests who had questions for the two licensed funeral directors on hand (pictured here is Chris Ronk of The Co-op Funeral Home.) We love connecting with our Association in person!

If you're a PMA member who wants to attend a future installment, please stay tuned on our e-newsletter for info on August's edition.

Next week, a PMA funeral home partner gets the documentary treatment at SIFF! Catch two screenings of The Life We Leave, which follows the journey of opening one of our beloved NOR providers here in Washington. The film captures the trials and triumphs of not only a newcomer to the funeral industry but someone on the cutting edge of an expanding option that aims to put deathcare back into the hands of families.
More info on the SIFF website, search by film title.

Our Terracon takeaway? Transparency! Throughout the two-day conference earlier this month, a theme emerged across panels and speeches, beyond natural organic reduction. Extolled over again was the honesty and integrity of host . We're as thrilled to have a partnership with the Auburn-based provider as the WA-State industry at large.

This video features Return Home's Mandy Stafford, head of partnerships; educator Joél Simone, ; The Co-op Funeral Home's managing funeral director Chris Ronk; multi-hyphenate Nicole Steinberg .me.not.doula ; PMA's Port Townsend partner David Bradley, owner of Bradley-Kosec; and extraordinaire Brian Flowers .
