In our groups join a peer facilitator and other parents weekly for discussions, support, and building community.

Please note that foster parents or anyone else of any race who is parenting a BIPOC child is welcome to join our parent groups.

(Ages 18 months through 3 years)
Toddlers and siblings welcome!
These groups will be at the Seattle Children's Museum. Free street parking. After the group, enjoy getting to play in the museum for the rest of the day at no cost to you.

🌞Please register and join us for our August Park Day! Sunday, August 23, from 11am to 2pm, we will be at Judkins Park. We will be at picnic shelter #1 near the playground and just up the small hill from the main parking and water spray area - with a free a lunch, free mini farmers market (fill a bag of items to take home for free!), cultural presentation, and activities for all ages.

💦Please note that this park has a playground and a water spray area. Bring a towel and change of clothes, if you or your child might want to play in the water.

Things to bring:
✅Towels and change of clothes for water play
✅We also welcome you to bring picnic blankets, chairs and/or canopies so you have a place to sit in the shade of the shelter or a canopy.

We will be near the playground and the salmon slide - with a free a BIPOC catered lunch, free mini farmers market (fill a bag of items to take home for free!), and activities for all ages.

Youth and Family Crafting Workshop next Saturday, June 20! Free but limited spots. Register today!

🌈Families will be able to connect while crafting charm jewelry, keychains, glitter bottles, aromatherapy, decorating rocks, and/or personalizing bandanas. Younger siblings welcome. Lunch provided.

📣FOCS is excited to announce we are ready to find our next Executive Director to lead us into our next chapter! We are so grateful to Kendra for her generosity and love in stepping into the role temporarily over the past year and for stewarding us through to this time. We are now happy to support her in completing her doctoral work in education and returning to her place on the FOCS Board.
