Lao Community Service Center of WA Our organization was formed by a group of Lao community members who saw a need in our community.

The Lao community has been in the United States for over 40 years and although we have come a long way, we have yet to have a physical home where we can gather. It has been a dream for all of us to build a community center for the Lao people. A place where we can offer our community with social, cultural, and educational services. A place where our elders can come to to share their stories and the richness of our culture. A place where the younger generation can come and learn about their past and build for their future.

Photos from our Aviation Lunch & Learn event last Sunday at The Museum of Flight!

We had an incredible turnout and loved seeing so many families come together to explore career pathways and learn about the world of aviation.

Thank you to our guest speaker, Anna, from the Port of Seattle. Anna shared valuable insights on the diverse career opportunities, workforce programs, and community initiatives offered by the Port of Seattle. We are so grateful for the Port of Seattle’s generous support in helping make this event possible!

We also extend a special thank you to The Museum of Flight for hosting us in such an inspiring space and granting our families full access to explore the museum's incredible exhibits!

Thank you to all of our volunteers for setting up, assembling and handing out school supply packages to the kids, and keeping the entire event running smoothly! It was such a fun, meaningful day seeing our community connect, learn, and explore together. We look forward to hosting more events like this in the future!
