🚨 URGENT SUPPLY DRIVE FOR RESCUED CATS & KITTENS 🚨

The City of Glen Cove is working alongside Nassau County SPCA and Cove Animal Rescue - all volunteer organizations- to care for dozens of cats and kittens recently rescued in Glen Cove. These animals need immediate support, and we are asking our community to help.

Most-needed items include:
🐾 Cat food
🐾 Kitten food (Fancy Feast Kitten Food preferred, but will accept anything)
🐾 Cleaning supplies
🐾 Small paper plates & bowls
🐾 Disposable gloves (medium/large)
🐾 Paper towels
🐾 Paper pellet litter
🐾 Garbage bags
🐾 Used towels

Donations can be dropped off at:

📍 Glen Cove City Hall
9 Glen Street, Glen Cove
Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM

📍 Cove Animal Rescue
40 Shore Road, Glen Cove
Daily, 12 PM–5 PM

Every donation, no matter the size, will help provide comfort, care, medical treatment, and a chance at a better future for these animals.

Thank you to Nassau County SPCA and Cove Animal Rescue for stepping up to help during this critical rescue effort.

As we approach Memorial Day weekend, the North Shore Hispanic Chamber of Commerce pauses to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. We owe an immense debt of gratitude to our fallen heroes and their families, whose courage protects the freedoms we enjoy today.

In observance of the holiday, please note that our administrative offices will be closed on Monday, May 25th. We will reopen with normal business hours on Tuesday, May 26th.

As you gather with family, friends, and neighbors this weekend, we wish you a safe, peaceful, and meaningful Memorial Day. If you are a business owner operating through the weekend, we thank you for your continued dedication to keeping our local economy vibrant.
