The mission of Guardian Angel Family Crisis Center is to meet the immediate needs of woman who have lost control of their lives, who are struggling to raise their children or who have been left shipwrecked by economic or marital hardship. We believe it is essential to help woman overcome their problems while aiding them in any way possible to preserve their families.The Guardian Angel Family serve

After 20 wonderful years of serving our community, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the Guardian Angel Family Store will be closing its doors. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has volunteered, donated & shopped with us over the years. It has been a true blessing to meet so many families in our community & to be able to offer help & support during difficult times. We invite you to our Closing Sale, featuring quality women's clothing, shoes & handbags priced from just $1 to $5. We're open Mon. Wed. Fri. Sat. 10am-3pm. We hope you'll stop by not only to shop, but also to give us the opportunity to say goodbye, share memories & celebrate the many friendships we've made over the past two decades. The Guardian Angel Family Store will be closed on Monday, May 25th, in honor of Memorial Day — a time to honor & remember the men & women who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. We will never forget their courage, sacrifice, & love of our country. In 1865, Memorial Day was originally called Decoration Day & was created to honor & remember the soldiers who gave their lives during the Civil War by decorating their graves with flowers. Following World War I, the day expanded to honor all soldiers who lost their lives in battle. In 1971, Congress officially designated Decoration Day as the federal holiday known as Memorial Day, to be observed on the last Monday in May as a national day of remembrance and honor.

This Memorial Day weekend, our country will honor the brave men & women of our Armed Forces who gave their lives in service to our nation with parades & tributes. Bring your children to The Guardian Angel Family Store, 239 Glen Cove Av. in Sea Cliff on Sat. 10am–3pm, where they can learn how to color American flags & create their own to wave proudly at local parades. Families are also invited to visit The Sea Cliff Village Museum, 95 Tenth Av. for the exciting new exhibition, “Stars, Stripes & Sea Cliff: Celebrating America at 250.” The exhibit features historic mural-sized flags & military uniforms that help tell the story of America’s heritage & service. The museum will be open 11am–2pm. Make this Memorial Day weekend a meaningful one by helping children learn about patriotism, remembrance & the sacrifices made for our freedom.
