📚 Collecting Books & Magazines for Our Veterans! 🎖️

Do you have any previously-loved large-print books or magazines you no longer need? We would love to pass them along to the Veterans at the Southeast Veterans Center! 🙏

📖 Books — large-print please!
📑 Magazines — regular print is just fine, as the Veterans mostly enjoy looking at the photos!

Donations can be dropped off in one of the bins in the Narthex. It’s such a simple and meaningful way to brighten the day of someone who has served our country! ❤️ Questions? Please see Kathy or Joe!

💙 Happy Father's Day from Heidelberg UCC! 💙

Today we celebrate the incredible men who have shaped our lives with their love, strength, and guidance. To the dads, the granddads, the stepdads, the uncles, the godfathers, and all the father figures who love, lead, and nurture — we see you, we honor you, and we are SO grateful for you! 🙏

A father's love reflects the love of our Heavenly Father — steady, protective, and unwavering. Today, we give thanks for that beautiful gift. ✨

We also hold tenderly in prayer those for whom this day may be difficult — those grieving the loss of a father, those longing to be fathers, those navigating complicated relationships, and those whose children are no longer with them. You are loved and held in God's care today and always. ❤️

⛰️❄️ We Reached the Summit! VBS 2026 Recap! ❄️⛰️

What an absolutely incredible week at Snowball Mountain Challenge! 💪✨ Last night was the PERFECT way to wrap up VBS 2026!

Our Challengers wrapped up the week learning about Peter and John at the Temple (Acts 3:1–10) and discovering that "I can hope!" 🙏 What a powerful note to end on!

And the fun didn't stop there — Friday night was also our Adult VBS & Family Dinner! While the kids were outside having a BLAST on the water bounce house, playing Toss Across, co****le, and more 🌪️🌽— the adults got to experience science experiments, a craft, Chat & Chew, and games of their own! 🎉

What a joy-filled evening celebrating together as one big HUCC family! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦❤️

Thank you to every single Challenger, volunteer, and family who made this week so incredibly special. You climbed the mountain and proved that with God, ALL things are possible! 🏔️

What an incredible Day 4! 🙌 Our Challengers learned about Jesus Praying in the Garden & discovered "I can pray!" 🙏✨

🌟 Tonight's Lift Lesson: I CAN HOPE!
Tonight we'll hear about Peter and John at the Temple (Acts 3:1–10) — a powerful reminder that with God, there is ALWAYS hope!

🎉 Tonight is also our Adult VBS & Family Dinner! Grown-ups, you're invited to join in on the fun — games, science, Chat & Chew, AND crafts! It's a night for the WHOLE family to celebrate together! 👪
