With deep sadness, we announce the death of our Founder and Executive Director, Kenneth "Jim" Hoser on December 8th, 2021. The entire staff and friends of the Adaptive Diving Association want to thank all of you that have supported our mission over these many years. We are so moved by the many who have expressed their condolences for the loss of this incredible man. Jim had accomplished what some would consider "impossible" in his laser focus to promote adaptive SCUBA diving.

Please know that the ADA staff of volunteers is committed to seeing Jim's vision continue and move forward into the future. Your continued financial and volunteer support will make this an amazing reality.

This is called safe adaptive diving, no adaptive divers being pulled onto the boat by "THEIR ARM PITTS" No staff being injured trying to lift adaptive divers onto boats. Think about a person with a spinal cord injury being yanked onto a boat by their arm pitts ( does that sound like SAFE diving ?) Dive resorts should take a very close look at this if they want to encourage adaptive clients. Adaptive Diving Association is at the forefront of "SAFE ADAPTIVE DIVING"
