Late-night ask from me.
If you grew up in a small town, loved a small town, visited a small town, or ever walked through a downtown and thought, “I wish more places still felt like this,” then you understand why this campaign matters.
Downtowns hold memories.
They are the places where grandparents took us shopping, where kids pressed their faces against store windows, where people ran into neighbors, where parades passed by, where businesses opened their doors, and where generations left little pieces of their stories behind.
We want our downtown to feel that way too. Welcoming. Cared for. Worth slowing down for. Worth investing in. Worth believing in.
South Schuylkill Unified’s campaign to seed a future Facade Improvement Grant Program is live until 9 AM tomorrow.
We are so close.
If we reach our goal, we estimate that we can help support at least five facade improvement projects. Five storefronts. Five visible signs of progress. Five reminders that good things are happening here because people chose to care.
If you already gave, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
If you have not given yet and are able to, even a small gift tonight or tomorrow morning helps.
If you cannot give, sharing this post still helps us more than you know.
This is how community momentum starts. Not all at once. Not with one person. But with many people saying, “I want to be part of making this place better.”

Let’s finish strong by 9 AM.
Raise funds for a future facade improvement grant program to support local businesses, improve storefronts, and strengthen downtown Schuylkill Haven.
