We did it!

Thanks to the generosity of our community, South Schuylkill Unified exceeded our fundraising goal for the future Facade Improvement Grant Program.

We are deeply grateful to every person who gave, shared a post, followed our page, encouraged us, sponsored a matching hour, donated a prize, or helped spread the word.

This campaign was about more than raising money. It was about showing what is possible when people believe in a place and decide to invest in its future.

Because of you, we are one step closer to helping small businesses and property owners make visible improvements to our downtown storefronts, signs, windows, doors, lighting, paint, awnings, and other exterior details that make our community feel more welcoming, vibrant, and cared for.

Every gift helped.
Every share helped.
Every encouraging word helped.

You helped us turn an idea into momentum.

From all of us at South Schuylkill Unified, thank you for believing in this work and for helping us move forward together.

One region. Shared goals. Real progress.

Late-night ask from me.

If you grew up in a small town, loved a small town, visited a small town, or ever walked through a downtown and thought, “I wish more places still felt like this,” then you understand why this campaign matters.

Downtowns hold memories.

They are the places where grandparents took us shopping, where kids pressed their faces against store windows, where people ran into neighbors, where parades passed by, where businesses opened their doors, and where generations left little pieces of their stories behind.

We want our downtown to feel that way too. Welcoming. Cared for. Worth slowing down for. Worth investing in. Worth believing in.

South Schuylkill Unified’s campaign to seed a future Facade Improvement Grant Program is live until 9 AM tomorrow.

We are so close.

If we reach our goal, we estimate that we can help support at least five facade improvement projects. Five storefronts. Five visible signs of progress. Five reminders that good things are happening here because people chose to care.

If you already gave, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

If you have not given yet and are able to, even a small gift tonight or tomorrow morning helps.

If you cannot give, sharing this post still helps us more than you know.

This is how community momentum starts. Not all at once. Not with one person. But with many people saying, “I want to be part of making this place better.”

88% funded and almost there!

We are so close to reaching our goal for South Schuylkill Unified’s Facade Improvement Grant Program campaign.

A few more gifts could help push us across the finish line and move us closer to supporting at least five visible downtown improvement projects.

If you have been waiting to give, this is the moment.

$10 helps. $25 helps. $50 helps. Every share helps.
