Rotary President, Martha Sandoval presented check for $4,100 to Kori Polusky, Program Manager at St. Jude House.
St. Jude House is a domestic violence shelter and prevention center. Funds were used for a freezer to offer their residents greater autonomy over dietary preferences. They also furnished their group room with comfortable seating and warm decor, creating an environment that encourages peaceful group discussions and provides a sanctuary for their residents.
Funds were provided through a grant from Rotary District 6540 and the Rotary club of Schererville.
