Pride isn’t just something we celebrate- it’s something we build.

Every day, Savannah Pride Center provides affirming healthcare navigation, mental health support, HIV prevention services, youth and senior programs, and a welcoming space where our community can connect, heal, and grow.

This month, we celebrate the resilience, joy, and strength of our LGBTQIA+ community while continuing the work of building a future where everyone belongs.

We’re honored to be among this year’s recipients of Atlanta Pride’s Pride Across the Peach State grant.

At a time when LGBTQIA+ organizations across the country are facing growing challenges, investments like this do more than fund events- they strengthen the community spaces, programs, and connections that help our people thrive.

As the only LGBTQIA+ center in Georgia, we know firsthand that support is needed in every corner of our state. Every day, we welcome people who travel hours seeking affirming healthcare, community, resources, and hope. This grant helps ensure that work continues.

Thank you to Atlanta Pride for recognizing that Pride doesn’t begin and end in our largest cities. It lives in every town, every neighborhood, and every person courageous enough to show up as themselves.

Congratulations to all of this year’s grantees. We’re grateful to stand beside organizations across Georgia who are building a future where LGBTQIA+ people are not only welcomed- but truly supported, celebrated, and able to belong.

Beginning in July- This group is veteran-led, community-centered, and rooted in respect. Whether you’re looking for support, conversation, friendship, or simply a room where you can fully exhale- you are welcome here.

“Stonewall At Starland Yard” is a vibrant annual celebration now in its 9th year, dedicated to commemorating the historic Stonewall Riots in 1969 that gave momentum to the LGBTQIA+ rights movement.

Attendees can look forward to our annual “So You Think You Can Drag” competition highlighting local talented drag artists. This year, the addition of the Stonewall Mini Ball
will provide an open-to-all experience for attendees to take
part in this cornerstone of Q***r culture. The evening will culminate with music and dance featuring a live DJ. From 2pm to 10pm, attendees can enjoy local vendors offering delicious food, drinks, crafts, and more!

Save the date!

The Campaign is coming to Savannah! Take part in the photoshoot, protesting against the silencing of voices and promoting a world of love for all and universal acceptance. Join over 50,000 others across the globe in putting a face to the fight for equality!

The NOH8 campaign will be at Savannah Pride Center on Tuesday, May 26th from 6 to 8PM. Come camera ready and please bring a white t-shirt to wear for the shoot.
No reservations needed. Official NOH8 photos will be taken by Adam Bouska.

Costs:
Single/Solo Photos: $40
Couple/Group Photos: $25 per person

NOH5 accepts cash and card only. Fees paid to participate cover services and costs for one edited digital print only, made available via noh8campaign.org, and do not include physical prints.

Tomorrow, May 1st, there will be a hiring event with Starbucks for positions at stores in the Savannah area! Starbucks is looking for Baristas, Shift Supervisors and Coffeehouse Leaders, and will hire the right candidates on site. If you're looking for a new job, this is the opportunity for you!

This event will take place from 11AM to 2PM at 11 E DeRenne Ave. (The Starbucks near The Globe!) We can't wait to see you there! ☕
