Sonoma County residents: the Cloverdale City Council will be discussing Esmeralda TOMORROW, Wednesday, October 7th! Want more Housing in Sonoma County?  Show up & let the Council know! The City Council will hold a public hearing for the proposed Esmeralda Development. This development is perfectly situated inside the city limits and within a half mile of the future SMART Train Station and received Generation Housing's top level of endorsement.

Say hello to our new Youth Pro-promotora, Litzy! 🌟 She joins our team through the Latino Service Providers Youth Promotor Internship Program to help drive health equity and community leadership across Sonoma County.

A recent UC Berkeley psychology graduate with deep roots in Sonoma County, Litzy chose to dedicate her year-long internship to housing advocacy with Generation Housing. She is passionate about health education, social justice, accessible healthcare, and sustainable living.

Outside of work, you’ll find her scrapbooking, listening to music, or taking walks in nature.

✨Monica Ramirez joins us as our new Bilingual Civic Engagement Coordinator!

Monica brings a deep passion for connecting people and helping community members feel informed, included, and empowered. She has worked with families throughout Sonoma County through organizations like La Luz Center as well as local arts and education programs.

As a bilingual Spanish and English speaker, Monica is especially excited to make civic engagement opportunities more accessible to our Spanish-speaking communities. When she’s away from work and her sociology studies at Santa Rosa Junior College, you can find her painting, enjoying the outdoors, or spending time with family.

The City of Santa Rosa wants to hear from you!

The City is continuing work on the South Santa Rosa Specific Plan, which will help guide future land use, housing, transportation, economic development, public improvements, and other changes in the South Santa Rosa area.

They are inviting community members, residents, property owners, businesses, and others who live, work, shop, or travel in South Santa Rosa to complete our latest community survey.

Your feedback will help inform the next steps in developing the Specific Plan and ensure the plan reflects the needs and priorities of the community. The survey will be available through September 25th and takes approximately 15 minutes to complete.
