Affordable Housing Month would not look nearly as good without the creativity, talent, and heart behind our graphics, flyers, social media, and event materials. As we celebrate National Creativity Day tomorrow, we want to give a huge shout-out to Studio B-creative for helping bring Generation Housing’s work to life.

Creativity builds connection. It inspires action, sparks conversation, and helps turn advocacy into something people can truly see and feel.

Thank you, Studio B, for not only being incredibly creative but also wonderful collaborators and passionate supporters of housing advocacy. We are grateful for your partnership!

What a night! Our screening of Fault Lines last week sold out, and we are so grateful to everyone who joined us for this important conversation about housing in the North Bay.

The energy in the room made one thing clear: our community is ready to keep talking, learning, and taking action on housing. Because of the incredible response, we are excited to begin planning more screenings!

Thank you for showing up & for being part of the movement for housing solutions that build a community where everyone has a place to call home!

A special thanks to our moderator, panelists, and event partners - True West Film Center & Costeaux French Bakery

If you walk through Napa’s most charming, historic neighborhoods, you’ll see something interesting: they often don’t follow today’s modern zoning rules.

Before 1950, we built neighborhoods with "character" naturally. There were more diverse types of homes and other buildings (like duplexes and cottage courts), and fewer arbitrary rules like front setbacks and parking requirements. They were walkable, diverse, and beautiful.

Paradoxically, the "character" we love so much would be illegal to build in many parts of Napa today.

It’s time to look back to move forward. Join Generation Housing at the 2026 Napa Valley Housing Solutions Summit as we discuss how to bring back "middle housing" initiatives that respect our county’s unique history while meeting our modern needs.

This isn’t just another talk—it’s where we decide, together, which strategies will define Napa’s future.

What we’re tackling:
Legislative Tools: Understanding how policies like SB 10 and AB 1033 might help us achieve our housing affordability goals
Policy Levers: Housing that fits the "feel" of Napa
Real-Time Polling: Help us rank the strategies we’ll take to public meetings this year

Let's stop building by accident and start building with intention.

When: Thursday, May 26th (Reception to follow)
Where: Redwood Credit Union Community Room Devlin Rd. Napa, CA
Tickets: We believe in accessibility. Join us at our pay-what-you-can event!
