Tonight, our team was honored beyond measure to receive a generous gift from Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation! ✨

Our sincerest thanks to their incredible team, board, patrons, and donors whose generosity made this moment possible. Because of their support, we broke ground on Teresa Lane, Habitat Walton’s newest neighborhood, where nine new front doors will soon open for hardworking families who live and work alongside us in our community, providing security, stability, and opportunity. 🏠💙

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping us build more than homes. You’re helping build brighter futures, stronger families, and a stronger Walton County community.

A heartfelt thank you to the UF / IFAS Extension Walton County Master Gardener Volunteers for providing beautiful landscaping for for Habitat Walton homeowners since our Hope Village Development!

Recently, this incredible team worked on Habitat Home #76 alongside homeowner Tenesha and her girls. We are so grateful for the time, talent, plants, and labor you’ve gifted to help make their house a home. Even more special, you include our homeowners in the process honoring their preferences while teaching valuable gardening and maintenance skills they can enjoy for years to come. 🌱

These impactful gifts do more than beautify a yard they help families put down roots, grow confidence, and create a place they’re proud to call home. Thank you for helping us grow love in these homes! 💙

What a great night at the Habitat ReStore! 🦺🏠

Thank you to the Building Industry Association of Okaloosa and Walton Counties, Inc. (BIA OW) for allowing Habitat Walton to host last night’s BIA OW Hard Hat Happy Hour ⛑ at the ReStore, sponsored by Community Bank. It was wonderful to welcome so many industry professionals for an evening of great conversations, networking, and new connections. 👷🏻👷🏻‍♀️

We loved seeing familiar faces, welcoming new members, and celebrating the relationships that continue to strengthen our building industry and community. A special thank you to Rex Holley (BIA OW Board President) and Christie Austin (BIA OW Board Member and Community Bank) for taking the time to address everyone at last night’s event! We appreciate your support and for being part of a great evening.

🎉 Congratulations to Chris Murphy with Hammer Building Supply for finding the Golden Hammer 🪙🔨 hidden in the ReStore Showroom! Opportunity, connection, and encouragement can make a lasting impact and we’re proud to help create more of those moments for women in our community. 💗

Habitat Walton is excited to partner with Build with Rosa and Super Women Cry Too to invite six deserving women from Northwest Florida to attend the ContractHer Connect Built to Lead: Women in Construction Summit on September 10th at Emerald Grande in Destin.

We’re seeking women from Walton, Okaloosa, Bay, and surrounding communities who demonstrate leadership, resilience, service, personal growth, or a positive impact on others. These invited seats are intended for women who would benefit from the meaningful conversations, connections, learning, and opportunities the summit offers but may not otherwise have the financial flexibility to attend.

✨ Community nominations and self-nominations are welcome!
