The Gulf Sturgeon is a true living relic of our waterways 🐟✨

These ancient fish have been around for millions of years, migrating between freshwater rivers and the Gulf of Mexico each year. Once heavily impacted by habitat loss and overfishing, they are now a protected species and a conservation success story in our region. Gulf Sturgeon can grow up to 8 feet long and live more than 40 years, making them one of the most remarkable fish in our local waters!
