Dear Friends and Supporters of the Vicente Chamber Orchestra,
I hope you are enjoying the fall and looking forward to a wonderful holiday season.
Over the past few months, we have been busy planning something very special: the Vicente Chamber Orchestra’s 10th Anniversary Season. Our last season, three concerts at Bel Air Presbyterian Church, was a tremendous success. I want to thank all of you, our loyal audience, donors, and musicians, for making those afternoons so memorable.
This season carries deep personal meaning for me. When I founded the VCO in 2016, I never imagined that ten years later we would have presented dozens of concerts, supported local professional musicians, welcomed world-class soloists, and built the warm community that gathers at every one of our events. Over those years, I have changed too, and the VCO has come to mean more to me than I expected. It has shaped what it means to me to be a musician, to help others pursue their dreams, and to share the beauty of music while building a community around it.
Our 10th Anniversary Season is about inspiration. Each of this year’s soloists brings a remarkable personal story, one that will deepen the music you hear. I will share full details on our artists and repertoire soon, including a very special guest musician who will join us for our spring concert.
For now, please mark your calendars:
Sunday, February 28, 2027, at 2:00 PM
Sunday, April 11, 2027, at 2:00 PM
Sunday, June 6, 2027, at 2:00 PM
All three concerts will take place at Santa Monica First Presbyterian Church, the very place where the VCO began. It feels fitting to celebrate ten years by coming home.
Thank you for your support over the years. There is much more to come, and I look forward to seeing you soon.
With gratitude,
Zain Khan
