Last week, our NFPA’s Wildfire and Firewise USA Programs team was in Wisconsin, meeting with the U.S. Forest Service and spending a day in the field with Firewise USA® participants.

This group generously gave us their time to share their stories, show us their communities, and give us a firsthand look at how they’re addressing areas at high risk for wildfire.

It was a great opportunity to learn from the people doing this work every day and to see the impact of neighbors working together to reduce wildfire risk.
