👀 What if mindsight could be used to see and travel better pathways? How might our seeing shape our destinations—and the embodied landscapes we encounter as we travel? 🌱🌿

🪴 Join us as we host Cherie Dikelsky for “Pathways in Plain Sight,” the latest in our IPNB in Society series. Cherie is the principal coach and strategist for Hello Hemispheres, a success coaching practice that partners with artists, inventors, advocates, educators, and executives to see and shape real-world vision and breakthroughs.

✨Focusing on the first domain of the Hemispheres SHAPE Framework (Sight), this talk expands on mindsight to explore how the brain’s bias for seeing shapes not only our orientation, but our perception of terrain, the possibilities that come into view, and the pathways that are visible and actionable. Drawing from two decades of work in applied neuroscience with both individual clients and through social and civic experience transformations, Cherie will explore how Sight can be leveraged to expand what is visible, tangible, and possible—in real time.

This FREE session includes two brief experiential demonstrations and will be followed by a 30-minute members-only Q&A. Register at the link in bio!

REMINDER: IPNB in Society Series: The Frontier of Restorative Justice - Constance Sheehan, PhD is TODAY!

There is still space left - register at the link in comments 🌿

Join us for a conversation with Dr. Constance Sheehan, a psychotherapist, educator, and human rights advocate who brings interpersonal neurobiology into spaces where human rights are at stake — the spaces where human nervous systems meet justice systems. From her work using talking circles with asylum seekers and law enforcement to her commitment to capital case mitigation, we'll learn how Constance is helping to chart a new frontier of trauma-informed justice, where IPNB is creating new insights and much-needed change. We'll cover topics ranging from her day-to-day work (e.g., expert testimony against multi-year stays in solitary confinement) to a self-care philosophy that keeps her in touch with the mindbody resources she needs to stay engaged.

🌿 What if health were not defined by comfort, balance, or the absence of symptoms — but by something far more precise, dynamic, and testable?

In this experiential presentation, Marek Wyszynski, PT, GCFP, introduces Moshe Feldenkrais’s exact definition and measurement of health, a definition that challenges many conventional assumptions in both physical and mental health fields.

Participants will explore this perspective through:

🌱a brief conceptual framing
🌿an experiential Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement® lesson and
🪴a discussion connecting embodied experience to clinical themes such as resilience, adaptability, agency, and change.

No movement experience required. This session will be helpful for any practitioners interested in deepening their understanding of health as a living, adaptive process rather than a static state.

Fellow GAINS Members,

In January we experienced an incredibly special webinar with Sally Maslansky (client & author) and Dan Siegel (her therapist) discussing her experiences as a client while Dan was developing IPNB in the 1980s and 1990s. Together, we created a thoughtful space to hear about Sally's courageous journey and discuss how IPNB makes safe knowing and integration possible.

AND! since many of you have reached out since the webinar to reflect on the discussion, we're carving out some time for further reflections and study together.

Sally's book really is a must read for anyone interested in how an IPNB mindset works with therapy. It's title: A Brilliant Adaptation: How Dissociated Identity Disorder and The power of The Therapeutic Bond Saved Me

Sally will join us and Working Board Member Cherie will host:

Wednesday, February 11, 2026 11:00 AM Pacific 2:00PM Eastern 1900 GMT/IST

01/16/2026

Note: the super early bird rate to attend virtually is just $150. Link to agenda in comments 🌿✨

We are so happy to announce that Dan Siegel will join Sally Maslansky for our January 21 webinar!

This will be a talk to remember. When, if ever, have you been able to experience a live dialog between a therapist and client? This is such an amazing opportunity to hear—in intimate detail—a story about the true potential of IPNB, from both a client's perspective (Sally Maslansky) and her therapist's (Dan Siegel). 🙏

Register FREE at the link in the comments ✨ Members-only Q&A to follow (if you're not a member, this Q&A will be one worth joining for)!

Note: A Brilliant Adaptation is available in stores now.

This experiential conversation invites us into a new year with fresh intention, releasing old narratives about who we are and opening to the deeper essence of our being.

Through live inquiry, reflection, and music, we will explore how identity forms, how it lives in the nervous system, and how it can be gently expanded. Dan will offer reflections grounded in neuroscience and mindful awareness. Bob will allow a song to emerge in the moment, shaped by the shared inquiry of the group.

This is not a passive webinar. It is a live, participatory experience of science, song, and soul.

A Brilliant Adaptation — A True Story of IPNB in Action with Sally Maslansky

Human neurobiology is profoundly adaptive in conditions of extreme trauma—and profoundly neuroplastic in the presence of human connection. At this session we'll host Sally Maslansky for a talk about her upcoming memoir, A Brilliant Adaptation: How Dissociative Identity Disorder and the Power of the Therapeutic Bond Saved Me. Set for release on January 2, 2026, Sally's book tells the story of how, in a years-long therapeutic process with Dan Siegel during the formative years of IPNB, her lived experiences of life-altering harm found the connected conditions necessary for healing. Join us for this intimate portrait of IPNB in action: a real, embodied example of the evolutions possible when integration, attunement, and relational safety are lived, and not just discussed.

Registration is FREE and a member's only Q&A will follow. Register at the link in the comments!
