For the 26 youth on our waitlist between the ages of 12 and 21, advocacy is about the bridge to adulthood.

These teenagers and young adults are navigating high school, college plans, and the daunting reality of aging out of the system. They need a CASA to ensure they have the resources and support necessary to transition into a successful, independent life.

Today, a set of siblings shared a picnic and collected shells at the beach. Since they live in different placements, their CASAs worked together to coordinate a visit dedicated entirely to just being family. Protecting these sibling bonds is one of the most vital roles our advocates play.
