UFO/UAP Files Released!

President Donald J. Trump, in coordination with the Department of War, has now followed through on his promise to begin releasing UFO/UAP-related materials. Friday, May 8, a new government website dedicated to UFO/UAP information officially went live: www.war.gov/ufo

This is a significant moment for the disclosure movement, and we want to be very clear about something. This progress did not happen in a vacuum. It happened because of sustained public pressure from people like you.

Over the past several years, thousands of supporters have taken action through our campaigns. You contacted Congress, demanded whistleblower hearings, pushed for investigations into disinformation and classification abuse, and most recently joined our effort urging President Trump to finish the job on UFO/UAP disclosure.

Those actions mattered.

Public pressure gives elected officials the political space to act. Many lawmakers want to do the right thing, but it is the voices of their constituents that give them the courage to move forward. Democracy only works when citizens participate, and this community has shown exactly what organized civic engagement can accomplish.

At the same time, we must recognize that the release of selected documents is not the same as full disclosure.

The American people still deserve a complete accounting of all UFO/UAP and non-human intelligence-related information held by government agencies, defense contractors, and affiliated institutions.

The action that happened on May 8th is important, but it is only one step along a much larger path toward truth and accountability. With that in mind, we also ask you to thank President Trump for releasing the initial UFO/UAP files β€” and demand an ongoing and full accounting of UFO/UAP and NHI records. Now is not a time to celebrate only; we need to keep the positive pressure up by sending the president a flood of letters demanding full and genuine disclosure!

This is a milestone, but the work continues.

β€’ Responsible and lawful transparency to Congress regarding all government records and information concerning UAP.

β€’ Stronger congressional oversight of Executive Branch activities related to UAP.

β€’ Stronger whistleblower protections for government personnel and contractors who come forward lawfully.

β€’ Preservation of UAP-related records and punishment for improper destruction or concealment of those records.

β€’ A structured and accountable declassification process with timelines and oversight mechanisms.

This is not about requiring any legislator to adopt a particular interpretation of UAP. It is about whether elected officials are willing to stand for transparency, oversight, records preservation, and accountability regarding one of the most significant unresolved public-interest issues of our time. Across all 50 states, in 468 Congressional races in 2026, we’re mobilizing a national campaign to secure commitments from federal candidates to support UFO/UAP transparency, accountability, and disclosure.

This only works if we scale now.

Public trust in government is declining across party lines. People are demanding stronger adherence to democratic principles and oversight. This campaign meets that moment with a clear, nonpartisan path forward.

We’re asking candidates β€” Republicans, Democrats, and Independents β€” to take a public stand for open governance by signing the UFO/UAP Transparency Pledge.

It puts them on record to strengthen congressional oversight, ensure full disclosure of UAP-related information to Congress, protect whistleblowers, preserve critical records, and support a responsible path to public disclosure. The pledge is grounded in advancing lawful transparency while protecting legitimate national security interests.

NPI’s organizing is already underway in 34 states, powered by our growing network of grassroots volunteers β€” Citizens for Disclosure.
