Regardless of the weather conditions, our dedicated volunteers consistently show up with love to serve a warm meal to our guests. Today, we were able to serve a delicious meal of smothered porkchops, fried rice, and cabbage, all prepared with devotion by volunteers from St. Stephen’s Church. We appreciate your monthly support. It’s truly uplifting to see students from Lee County Highschool lending a helping hand in meal preparation during their summer break, spreading kindness and warmth.

They masterfully prepared Teriyaki steak, Hibachi chicken, Broccoli, Zucchini, Onions, and Fried Rice for our guests today, accompanied by thoughtful goody bags to make the weekend even brighter. We're overwhelmed with gratitude for your incredible support.

Empowering Wednesday!!! Continued gratitude to all our dedicated volunteers and local businesses, drivers who selflessly volunteer to pick up goods. Your compassion is the beacon of hope that inspires others.

Of course, we are always looking for more passionate new volunteers who can make a difference in their community!
Groups of 4 or 5, individuals!!! If you have a weekday per month from 8-1pm with spare time, we would be honored to have you join our legacy of kindness. Some groups have so many members they split their time, proving that together, every effort counts.
We always say where there is a will, there is a way!! God provides for all.

The Bread Basket was buzzing with activity this week, thanks to the dedication of our volunteers and the generosity of supporters like St. Luke Church Women’s Group whose special donation helped us make a bigger impact. Together with our partners - local grocery stores, sandwich shops, farmers, and Landmark - we're making a difference in the lives of the individuals we serve daily. A heartfelt thank you to all who contributed to our mission. We're honored to showcase some of the mouth-watering meals prepared by our volunteers: St. Francis Church's BBQ chicken, sweet potatoes, and green beans; Western Harnett Lions' Club chicken Alfredo, roasted veggies, and garlic bread; Moen's hearty sausage and bacon, grits, and pancakes; First Presbyterian's roast beef, potatoes, and carrots, and green beans; Solid Rock Church's sausage, egg casserole, diced potatoes, and biscuits.

With unwavering dedication, we have consistently served nourishing meals every weekday, rain or shine, thanks to the selfless efforts of our remarkable church group volunteers. Today's delectable menu featured mouthwatering smoked sausage with sautéed onions and peppers, perfectly roasted mixed vegetables, fresh mashed potatoes, accompanied by warm bread and scrumptious cake for dessert prepared by volunteers from 1st Baptist Church.

What an extraordinary week we've had, filled with compassion and kindness! Volunteer groups from Solid Rock Church and St. Stephen's Church, along with numerous individuals, selflessly dedicated their time to prepare nourishing meals for those in need. We're overflowing with gratitude for their invaluable contributions. Additionally, we'd like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to our local farming heroes and generous donors from Food Lion, Landmark, Jersey Mike's Stores, Lowes Food, and Piggly Wiggly, who consistently provide us with an abundance of fresh produce, meat, and wholesome goodness, including the most divine strawberries - Ohh they are so good.
Thanks to Patterson Farms and Thomas Farms from Broadway.
