Morgan School District recently welcomed Utah legislators to highlight public education in action and discuss the work happening in local schools!

Senator Ann Millner visited with leaders and educators to discuss literacy strategies and student reading growth.

Representative Kera Auxier joined one of our school board members and local community members for a Community Council meeting.

A big thank you to Senator Millner and Representative Auxier for taking the time to visit our schools, connect with board members and staff, and advocate for Utah students!

"Big dreams start with a book." 📚✨
Congratulations to Canyons School District, the Canyons Education Foundation, and Utah’s Operation Literacy on their exciting new partnership! Together, they are bringing Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to preschool-age children across southeastern Salt Lake County.
Early literacy is one of the greatest investments we can make in the future of our students, and initiatives like this help foster a love for reading before children even step into a kindergarten classroom.
Kudos to Superintendent McKay Robinson, the Canyons School Board, and everyone working to put books directly into the hands of young learners!

Inspiring news out of Emery County School District! 🎉

📚 San Rafael Middle School saw an 8.3% jump in RISE testing thanks to dedicated daily literacy time, and 3rd-grade reading levels are climbing districtwide!
👩‍🏫 A big thank you to the versatile educators stepping up to support students across subject areas.
📜 The district even uncovered a 1931 audit report, reminding us of the strong foundation our community has built over nearly a century.
