Busy last couple days for the West end of the County.
On Sunday Sanborn 9-1, Engine 1, 2 and Tanker 6 responded to Bergholz Volunteer Fire Dept for a Car Fire at Ward and Lockport
On Tuesday Sanborn 9, 9-1 and Truck 8 responded mutual aid to Town of Niagara Active Hose for their commercial structure fire.
Yesterday Sanborn 9, Engine 1 Tanker 6 and Rescue 5 responded mutual aid to Lewiston Fire Company No. 2 for their Structure Fire on the Tuscarora Indian Reservation. We would like to send a thank you to St. Johnsburg Fire Company, Inc. for providing an engine to standby at our station while our crews were operating on the structure fire and for the assistance in washing hose to get our Engine back in service. As well as Bergholz for filling tankers and Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station 914th Fire Department for responding with their Tanker for shuttling water

We would also like to thank the municipality’s and private businesses that allow their employees to leave work to respond on major calls, with doing so it provides us with our biggest resource, our manpower to provide the best service for our communities and residents
All of us at Sanborn extend our thoughts and prayers to those affected by the incidents

Public Informational Hearing regarding the proposed Apartment Complex that is slated to go in at Saunders Settlement and Buffalo Street.

Tonight our new to us Tower 8 former Orchard Park Truck 6 made it out to the back lot. Our personnel started familiarizing ourselves with the Tower and flowed some water through her master stream
