πŸš’ Fire Company Friday πŸš’ This week, we'd like to highlight our Dual Members who serve our community with the Town of Niagara Active Hose. We encourage dual membership because it provides a well-rounded volunteer within the Fire and EMS service.

Thank you for your dedication to our community, no matter the uniform!

TCAS Unit 2 and Medic 5 were out this afternoon with our friends from Pekin Fire Company, Inc.

Dispatched to a vehicle vs. tree accident... except this time, the tree hit the car. πŸŒ³πŸš—

After a thorough investigation, the Lewiston Police Department was unable to locate any proof of insurance for the tree. πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ

πŸš‘ Member Monday πŸš‘ Sam McKeon is relatively new to our team at Tri-Community but she is not new to EMS. Sam jumped right in, achieving clearance as a Paramedic with our agency and FTO status!

As a new mother, Sam still finds time to volunteer with us and her home fire company, Wrights Corners Fire Company. She enjoys spending time with her daughter and helping her community.

Thank you Sam!

This morning, members of Tri-Community Ambulance and Sanborn Fire Company came together for a hands-on agriculture emergency training.

Crews worked through a realistic farm accident scenario that challenged their patient assessment, clinical decision-making, extrication techniques and transport planning in a rural environment.

A special thank you to our own AEMT Tim Stead and Chief Hoover for developing and leading an outstanding training exercise. We'd also like to recognize Paramedic Life Member Robin Zastrowβ€”our dispatcher for the day!

Great job to everyone who participated! Training together strengthens our skills, builds stronger partnerships, and ensures we're prepared to serve our community when it matters most.
