A huge thank you to National Grid for once again showing up ready to work for United Way of Greater Niagara’s Days of Caring!

This incredible team volunteered at the Nor-Ton Red Jacket Club, Inc., home of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northtowns' Camp Spirit, to help prepare the grounds for another safe and fun summer.

National Grid employees removed and replaced a staircase, scraped and repainted picnic tables, scrubbed the bunks, and tackled plenty of other projects to help get camp ready for its young campers.

Year after year, National Grid continues to support our community through hands-on volunteerism, corporate giving, and generous employee campaigns. We are incredibly grateful for their hard work and continued partnership!

Thank you for helping keep Camp Spirit’s campers happy, safe, and ready for a great summer!

🏁 What an incredible night at Labor’s Night at the Races! 🏁

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, volunteers, ticket purchasers and friends of labor, this year’s event raised nearly $24,000 for United Way of Greater Niagara!

It was an evening filled with exciting racing, camaraderie and the kind of community spirit that shows what can happen when labor and community come together.

Labor has a long and proud history of giving back, and this event was another powerful example of that commitment. Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, sponsored, purchased tickets and contributed to making the evening possible.

A special thank-you to Ransomville Speedway and Chiavetta's for their partnership and support.

💙🌱 Days of Caring 2026 🌱💙

When Wegmans shows up, they show up ready to work.

The Wegmans team brought the tools, the coolers, and the team spirit they’re known for as they spent the day volunteering at Pinnacle Community Services’ Casey House as part of United Way of Greater Niagara ’s Days of Caring.

From weeding and planting to general cleanup and even some power washing, the team rolled up their sleeves and helped make a meaningful difference for the young people who call Casey House home.

Casey House provides a safe, supportive residential setting for teenagers who are working through challenges and need stability, guidance, and support as they continue to grow and build their futures. The program helps youth develop life skills, build confidence, and work toward personal goals in a caring environment.

A huge thank you to Wegmans for donating your time, energy, and enthusiasm to help create a welcoming space for these young people. Your commitment to our community continues to make a difference throughout Niagara County.

A huge thank you to IBEW 2104 and the New York Power Authority for spending the day volunteering at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Niagara County's Niagara County Fairgrounds as part of United Way of Greater Niagara's Days of Caring.

Their team jumped right in to help get the grounds ready for the season — weeding, planting, cleaning things up, and even bringing in a little Bobcat action to get the job done. 💪🌱

Thank you to everyone who gave their time, energy, and muscle to make a difference.

A huge thank you to the team from Goodyear for spending the day at Niagara Hospice as part of our Days of Caring 2026!

Every year, Goodyear shows up ready to make a difference, and this year was no exception. Their team did a fantastic job weeding, planting, mulching, and helping beautify the outdoor space at Niagara Hospice.

Projects like this are a great reminder of what Day of Caring is all about — local companies, volunteers, and nonprofit partners coming together to make our community stronger, brighter, and more welcoming.

Thank you, Goodyear, for your continued support and for always giving back in such a meaningful way.
