💛🧱 Our Annual Sophia the Fierce Inc. LEGO Drive has officially begun!!

Over the past 3 years, thanks to all of you, we have donated 684 LEGO sets to pediatric cancer warriors at Golisano Children’s Hospital of Buffalo and the Roswell Park pediatric cancer clinic!

On November 19th, Sophia Brielle would be turning 13 years old. In honor of her birthday, we are once again collecting LEGOs to bring smiles and distraction to children going through cancer treatment.

If you knew Sophia, you knew how much she LOVED LEGOs! They helped her get through so many long days when she was too sick to go anywhere or had to stay home because of her weakened immune system.

For kids spending days or weeks in the hospital, or stuck at home because they can’t risk getting sick, LEGOs are so much more than just toys. They help pass the time, keep their minds busy, give them something to look forward to, and provide a much needed break from everything they’re going through.

💙 This drive also honors another very special Angel Warrior, Liam Lynch.

Liam loved LEGOs just like Sophia. He was actually the very first warrior to receive a LEGO set from our first drive three years ago. Never did we imagine that we would one day be honoring both of them through this drive.

Liam’s Legacy Continues!

Olivia’s Bears is honored to once again partner with the Lynch Family to host the 2nd Annual Liam’s Legacy Event on Friday, February 26, 2027, at The Wurlitzer Events.

This special evening is about so much more than fundraising. It’s about celebrating Liam’s beautiful life, sharing his story, and continuing the kindness and compassion that made him so special.

Through the Liam’s Legacy Fund, established through The Children’s Hospital of Buffalo Foundation, we are working to eliminate parking fees for families receiving care on the Hematology/Oncology floor at Golisano Children’s Hospital of Buffalo.

This year, we’re bringing some of Liam’s favorite things to life with a theme inspired by fishing, camo, and the great outdoors!

We cannot wait to bring our community together once again for an unforgettable evening filled with love, generosity, and purpose, all in honor of one incredible boy.

Congratulations to our very own Olivia’s Bears Board Member, Maureen Finney!

We were thrilled to celebrate Maureen's inauguration as the 11th President of Nazareth University!

Maureen's enthusiasm, passion, and dedication to Nazareth University and its students are truly inspiring. Her commitment to making a difference and creating meaningful opportunities for others shines through in all that she does.

We are incredibly grateful to have Maureen as part of our Olivia’s Bears family, sharing her leadership, kindness, and heart for helping others.

Spreading a Little Halloween Magic!

It was a SPOOK-tacular delivery day for Olivia’s Bears at Golisano Children’s Hospital!

We delivered 27 Halloween Build-A-Bears to bring some extra smiles and comfort to our brave warriors! From spooky spiders and werewolves to pumpkin bats and Halloween kitties, there were plenty of adorable friends to choose from!

But the treats didn’t stop there! We brought $25 Panera gift cards, Build-A-Bear gift cards, Halloween LEGO sets, and festive Halloween crafts for our warriors. We also provided a hot lunch for families to enjoy!

Of course, we couldn’t forget the incredible nurses who care for these children each and every day! We dropped off a basket filled with sweets and treats as a small reminder of just how much they are appreciated!

While spending Halloween in the hospital may not be what these children and families had planned, we hope these little surprises bring some happiness, comfort, and a touch of Halloween fun to their day.

It has been a busy few weeks for Olivia's Bears, and our hearts are full!

From sending out bears filled with love and comfort to warriors and siblings, to providing medical supplies to help make treatments a little easier, we've been busy finding ways to bring smiles and support to our warriors and their families.

We helped make Monday Night Football extra special with favorite snacks for some of the cutest Bills fans, surprised a warrior with a super cool basketball hoop gaming system, and helped Elliana Muniza surpass her incredible goal of collecting over 6,000 pairs of socks in honor of Carson Shanahan!

We are gearing up for our special Halloween delivery next week, and we have some exciting projects ahead that we can't wait to share with you!

We are so grateful for the continued kindness and generosity of our community that allows us to keep spreading love, hope, and comfort to children and families who need it most. 💛🎗️

As September comes to a close, so does Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month. But for Olivia’s Bears, our commitment to this cause continues every single day.

We will continue to shine a light on pediatric cancer, honor the incredible warriors who face it with courage, remember the children who are forever in our hearts, and continue learning how we can better support children and families throughout our community.

As we close out this meaningful month, we also have so much to celebrate. Tomorrow marks 16 years cancer free for our founder, Olivia, followed by her 25th birthday on Friday!

Sixteen years. A milestone we will never take for granted.

We are grateful every single day for Olivia’s health and for the story that started this mission. Her kindness, strength, and desire to help others continue to inspire the work of Olivia’s Bears and remind us why we do what we do.

What began with one little girl and her own cancer journey has grown into a mission centered around bringing hope, love, comfort, and support to children and families facing some of their hardest days.

As September ends, our work does not. We will keep sharing their stories, supporting our warriors and their families, honoring our angels, and doing everything we can to make a difference.

Here’s to 16 years cancer free, 25 years of Olivia, and many more years of kindness ahead. 🎗️🧸💛

Sending off a sweet Fairy Kitten and some special goodies to a newly diagnosed warrior.

At Olivia’s Bears, we believe a bear is so much more than a cuddly friend. It’s a reminder to children facing some of their hardest days that so many people are thinking of them, cheering them on, and surrounding them with love.

Each bear is a little symbol of hope, love, comfort, and support—a reminder that they are never alone in their fight.

We’re sending this warrior so much love and strength as they begin their journey. You got this! 💛🎗️

To every golfer who showed up, hit the course, shared some laughs, and supported our mission — thank you! Your participation and generosity are such a huge part of what makes this day so successful year after year.

Many of these faces continue to show up for Olivia’s Bears, and that support means more to us than we can say. Because of you, we’re able to continue helping children and families facing pediatric cancer and other life-threatening illnesses throughout our community.

We hope you had as much fun as we did! Thank you for spending the day with us, believing in our mission, and helping us make a difference.
