A not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing equitable fine arts education. Seaside is an inclusive and equitable, multi-disciplinary arts studio.

At both our studio in Carmel Valley, San Diego, as well as at partner schools throughout the local community, we provide world-class arts education in dance, voice, theater, and visual arts. In all Seaside classes, our accomplished faculty foster a warm and welcoming environment: encouraging artistic excellence, over competition; emphasizing process, as much as product; and empowering students to

play an active role in their classes, so every child feels pride, ownership, and confidence in their work.

In our Multi-Arts Camp, students will act, sing, dance, and make art in one exciting, all-day experience. Each week features a new musical theater-inspired theme blending visual and performing arts, giving campers the chance to explore new skills in a supportive, confidence-building environment.

❗️San Diego is at a turning point❗️

The proposed city budget includes an 85% reduction in arts and culture funding—a decision that would effectively eliminate support for organizations like Seaside.

At Seaside, we see how essential the arts are to how young people grow, connect, and understand themselves and others.

In just four years:
• 1,500+ students served across San Diego
• $253,000+ in tuition assistance
• 100% of students report feeling accepted for who they are

This is what arts education does.
It builds confidence.
It develops empathy.
It gives young people a voice—and teaches them how to use it.

When access to the arts is reduced, the impact is not theoretical.
It is felt in classrooms, in communities, and in the lives of the children we serve.
