Endorsed by Nick Cannon, host of America’s Got Talent & CEO/Chairman of Nickelodeon’s Teen Nick, & his father James, CYP serves to inspire and educate youth via the media. Endorsed by the multi-talented Nick Cannon (actor, writer, comedian, host of America’s Got Talent, and CEO/Chairman of Nickelodeon’s Teen Nick) and his father, James Cannon, the mission of Cannon Youth Projects is to inspire and

educate our nation’s youth through the media. Focusing on youth between the ages of 13 and 22, Cannon Youth Projects’ goal is to develop multimedia institutions that will foster global communities of youth-based media projects by providing hands-on training in Multimedia Arts. This youth lead coalition of articulate and motivated young people, will deliver the voice of their communities through multimedia projects. Members of CYP have the opportunity to participate in hands-on training and lead media projects in the following areas:

- Interviewing
- Journalism and Screnwriting
- Directing & Producing
