💙 Farewells are always the hardest, but they often leave the biggest impact.

Last week, we said goodbye to Guadalupe and Fernando as they were released to return to work. 👏🎉 We are incredibly grateful for all of your support, dedication, and the positive impact you made during your time with us.

✨ Fun fact about Fernando: Rolando Elementary reached out to us seeking a pair of shoes for a student in need. Unfortunately, we didn't have any available in our inventory at the time. Without hesitation, Fernando went out of his way and purchased a pair himself to ensure that student had what they needed. 👟❤️

That simple act of kindness speaks volumes about Fernando's generous heart and willingness to help others. Thank you for always being so giving and compassionate, Fernando. We will truly miss you! 💙

Today, we honor Juneteenth—a day that commemorates freedom, resilience, hope, and the ongoing pursuit of equity and opportunity for all. ✨

As we reflect on the significance of this day, we are proud to celebrate the vision and leadership of our Founder & CEO, Shamine Linton. 🇯🇲💜

Born and raised in Jamaica, Shamine came to the United States with big dreams and an even bigger heart for service. Today, she is living her childhood dream through Sharia's Closet, an organization dedicated to restoring dignity, hope, and confidence to those facing hardship.

Through her leadership, Sharia's Closet has helped thousands of individuals by providing emergency clothing, hygiene kits, and essential resources to those in need. 🤝✨ What started as a dream has grown into a trusted community resource, partnering with more than 200 organizations throughout San Diego County to ensure help reaches those who need it most.

Juneteenth reminds us that freedom is not only about looking back at how far we've come, but also about creating opportunities for others to thrive. Every Bag of Hope distributed, every hygiene kit provided, and every life touched represents the power of community, compassion, and purpose. 💜

Today, we celebrate the strength of those who came before us, the progress we continue to make, and leaders like Shamine who turn their dreams into action and their passion into service.

Not only did they donate clothing, but they also contributed a generous $200 donation to support our mission. 💝 What makes this even more special is that they drove all the way from Arizona to make it happen! 🚗🌵

Many families in our community are facing difficult times, and together, we have the power to bring hope, relief, and support when it’s needed most.

We are urgently collecting:
🧼 Hygiene kits & personal care products
🩷 Feminine hygiene products
👕 Kids clothing (sizes 6/8 – 18/20)
👟 Kids shoes (sizes 1 – 7)

Every donation matters. A pair of shoes, a jacket, shampoo, or hygiene essentials may seem small, but to a child or family in need, it means comfort, dignity, and hope.

We’re asking our family, friends, and community to come together:

✨ Donate new or gently used items
