Our mission is to provide free emergency clothing to people that have an immediate need for clothing. Our vision is to empower people with clothes to promote self-esteem and self-identity in our community. Our Values: Dignity, Respect, Personalization, and Quality.

Happy September!

As we roll into fall, we want to take a moment to say a huge thank you to all our amazing volunteers, giving their time and energy to make everything we do possible. Your consistency, heart, and hard work don't go unnoticed; we are endlessly grateful for you.

A special shoutout also goes to our incredible Padres volunteers. Thank you for stepping up, lending a hand, and being such a positive force whenever you join us.

💜 Volunteer Shoutouts 🦋

This week, our incredible One Safe Place San Marcos family stepped up to support Sharia's Closet, and we couldn't be more grateful.

Pam took time out of her week to join us and lend a helping hand in the boutique. Jessica chose to spend her time with us, helping make a difference in our community. Julián, who is currently interning at One Safe Place, dedicated his time to serving alongside us. Savannah P., a Therapy Intern at One Safe Place, helped organize our boutique and prepare outfits for moms getting ready for important moments. Elizabeth came out to lend a hand and help keep our boutique organized and ready. Erika, a Victim Advocate with One Safe Place, helped us get everything set up for back-to-school.

At Sharia's Closet, we are truly grateful for the opportunity to support the amazing women of "Un Salto a la Confianza." 💜

Each of these women has faced difficult circumstances and unique challenges in life, and it is an honor for us to play a small part in supporting them as they move forward on their journeys.

We believe every woman deserves to feel confident, valued, supported, and empowered. Sometimes, something as simple as receiving clothing with care and dignity can mean so much more; it can be a small step toward rebuilding confidence, feeling good about yourself, and embracing a new beginning.

Thank you for trusting us to be part of your journey. That trust means everything to us, and it's something we never take for granted.

We are deeply thankful to everyone who donates, volunteers, and helps Sharia's Closet continue supporting women and families throughout our community.

We were truly honored to welcome the team from Frontera 100.7 FM for a tour of Sharia's Closet! 🎙️💜

Thank you for taking the time to visit, learn about our mission, and see firsthand the heart behind our Emergency Clothing Program and Bags of Hope. It was a pleasure sharing how our staff and volunteers thoughtfully prepare clothing and essential items for individuals and families experiencing hardship throughout San Diego County.

We're grateful for the opportunity to connect with SoCal's KFBG & KIRN Radio and share more about the work we're doing in our community, a family-owned broadcasting company since 1962. 📻

This week we're celebrating the incredible volunteers who show up week after week to make Sharia's Closet possible! From sorting donations and organizing racks to setting up tents and greeting guests with a smile, our volunteers bring so much heart to everything they do.
