Tell us how you recognize Hispanic Heritage Month?

It's that time of year again, PTA membership drive. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the opening of Rolando Park Elementary. So our theme this year is Once A Panther, Always A Panther. Whether you are a parent with a child at the school, a neighbor, a family member, a former student or teacher, please consider supporting our PTA. We are a small neighborhood school and every little bit helps so that the kids can enjoy educational assemblies and field trips, families can gather for events like Trunk or Treat and the Glow Dance, and teachers can feel a little more loved through Teacher Appreciation efforts. Feel free to share this post on your personal pages as well. We are hoping for 75 brand new PTA memberships this year and we have some big ideas for improvements to our playground with those funds.

🏃‍♀️💙 Rolando Park Elementary Fun Run Fundraiser! 💛🏃‍♂️

Our students are getting ready for the Rolando Park Elementary Fun Run this Friday, March 13! They are running all year long in our morning Run Club and give it their all for our school's largest fundraiser of the year. Our annual Fun Run helps fund many of the programs that make our school community so special.

Funds raised support things like:
✨ Student and family events that build community
✨ School assemblies & field trips
✨ Graduation ceremonies, gifts and 5th grade t-shirts
✨ Student activities throughout the year

Our goal is $6,750, and every donation—big or small—helps our students and school.

If you’d like to support a Rolando Park Panther, you can donate here:

Please feel free to share this post with friends, family, and neighbors who may want to support our amazing students!

Thank you for helping our Panthers run toward a great year. 🐾🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💙💛

Wow—what an incredible outcome! RPE earned $350 in bonus donations in the Regal Wicked for Good Challenge. We placed 2nd overall, and our board member, Claire Carrasquillo, won 1st place in the team category—for an additional $250 bonus. This happened because so many of you jumped in or spread the word. Thank you!

During this season of gratitude, we want to share our appreciation for every member of our Rolando Park community. We are proud to make all of our activities free for all students because of the many hands that volunteer and supporters who participate in dine-outs and fundraisers when they can.

We all have times when we can’t give time or funds—and that’s okay. Every student, family, teacher and supporter is a meaningful part of who we are. Simply being part of RPE makes our community stronger and richer.

Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Wow, 😲 we’re in 2nd place for the $500 Bonus!
Challenge ends tonight at 11:59PM!

We didn't mean to be in back to back fundraisers. Our Regal fundraiser goes through Dec 19, but yesterday they announced the WICKED FOR GOOD Bonus Challenge today only. Thank you to every family who jumped in or shared the post—wow!

Out of 77 schools, RPE is sitting in 2nd place. That already earns us a $100 bonus! 💙🐾

BUT if we reach 1st place by 11:59PM, we win $500—doubling what we hoped to raise this whole month in a single day.

If you haven’t grabbed your discounted tickets yet—or shared the link—there’s still time.
Every bundle and every share counts tonight.

🎟️ Fundraiser link: grouprai.se/regalcinemas67861s

Tickets are sold in $30 bundles of 2 (normally $50 value), and 25% comes back to RPE. In honor of Wicked for Good releasing tomorrow, the school that raises the most today gets the $500 bonus.

Let’s go, Panthers! 💙🐾

Thank you to everyone who joined our Nov dine-out at Alforon last night! Alforon is generously extending the event through today—just let them know you’re with the Rolando Park PTA.

We won’t have a December dine-out, but we are partnering with Regal to offer discounted movie tickets with 25% donated back to our school. The fundraiser is open now through December 19, but TODAY (Thursday, Nov 20) is a great day to participate because it’s the Wicked for Good Challenge to win an extra $500 BONUS for RPE!

How it works:
🎟️ Get 2 Regal movie tickets for just $30.
Adult tickets normally cost $25 and kids $22, so you save $7–$10 per ticket, and each bundle sends $7.50 back to our PTA. Tickets can be used at any Regal nationwide.

Today’s Bonus Challenge for participating schools:
🥇 1st place = $500 bonus donation from Regal
🥈 2nd place = $100
🏅 3rd–10th = $50 each

Why stock up today?
🍿 Perfect for the big holiday releases
🎁 Great gifts for teachers, friends, and family
✈️ Ideal for travel—redeem nationwide
🎬 Fun family outings over the break

Even if you can’t buy today, please share our fundraiser to help us win the $500 bonus! 💙🐾

👉 Grab your bundles here and share our link: grouprai.se/regalcinemas67861s

P.S. If you are buying as a gift, make sure to check the “Send as a gift 🎁” box and have your recipient’s email ready.
