I get many questions about fixing Monarch Wings. Here’s some ideas…but if they emerge from their chrysalis with crumpled wings it’s likely they are infected with OE a protozoan infection… keep them away from other butterflies to avoid spreading it or humanly euthanize them by putting them in a plastic bag and placing it in a freezer. They will go into hibernation before passing away.

Releasing a healthy male Monarch… 2022 is becoming a good year for the Majestic Monarchs… people in my Monarch Rescue group have released over 200 Monarchs

As of 8/25/21 I have released 139 Majestic Monarchs into the Highland Light community… it’s been a productive season

As of 7/19/21 I have released 89 Majestic Monarchs into my Highland Light neighborhood of San Clemente CA… my wonderful neighbors are doing the same and at any given time I have 6 or more of these beautiful creatures flying around my yard
