Generation Spirit Generation Spirit empowers students nationwide to create spirit teams that bring together peers with and without disabilities.

Our teams transform school culture to one where all students feel valued and celebrated. Generation Spirit is an innovative, student-run program that helps students nationwide create school-based cheer and dance teams that include students with and without disabilities on the same team. We provide everything that's needed, including our Quick Start Kit, free on-site training, peer mentoring and uniform grants to qualifying teams.

Important update from Generation Spirit 📣

After fifteen remarkable and rewarding years of promoting inclusion in schools nationwide, our team has decided to bring Generation Spirit’s activities to a close.

Thank you for your support throughout this incredible journey. Because of your commitment to Generation Spirit, tens of thousands of students have experienced meaningful inclusion, genuine friendship, and the joy of being a spirit leader.

As of April 30, 2024, our on-site training and uniform grant programs will no longer be available. For those interested in starting or supporting an inclusive spirit team, all of our free online resources will remain available on our website.
