🏀➡️💼 What if coaching is one of the strongest pathways to executive leadership?

New research conducted by The Tucker Center for Research on Girls & Women in Sport in partnership with the Women's Coaching Alliance (WCA) reveals a powerful connection between sports coaching and women in the C-suite.

📊 Among 379 women surveyed:
• 96.3% played sports
• 71% competed at the collegiate level or higher
• 74.7% coached sports
• 75% of women in the C-suite have coached sports

For years, we've talked about the athlete-to-executive pipeline. This research suggests the coach-to-executive pathway deserves equal attention.

Coaching develops leadership skills that translate directly to the boardroom: communication, decision-making, resilience, team building, and strategic thinking.

For Rosie White, 3X FIFA World Cup veteran for the New Zealand Women’s National Team, that person was her captain Ali Riley, who shaped her journey and inspired her simply by the way she led.
