Dagot’ee everyone,

On June 7th 2026, I got to attend the Diamondbacks game for Native American Recognition Day. This was such a good event. I’ve seen a lot of tribal royalties and tribal memories, coming out and representing the tribe, I and my other fellow royalties from the San Carlos Apache tribe, Junior Miss San Carlos Apache, San Carlos Baby Boy of the year, Miss San Carlos Apache College, Miss Saint Charles, Missy Saint Charles, Miss San Carlos High School, Junior Miss Rodeo San Carlos Apache, Miss Fort Thomas High School, Miss Mt. Turnbull, Missy Mt. Turnbull, Mt. Turnbull baby girl of the year. We were all here representing our tribe, loud and proud!! Good luck to the teams from different tribes and nations that have joined the Native Nations Softball & Baseball Tournament. Best of luck to all the teams. This is such a great event getting to see a lot of different travel performances from different tribes, showing us their culture and their passion that they have for their culture

And thank you so much to Resolution Copper for inviting Jr. Miss San Carlos and myself to your suite, we met Curtis Thomas the General Manager of Communities, Social Performance (CSP), Tribal Affairs, and Permitting & Approvals at Resolution Copper. Thank you and your team for inviting us and giving us information on copper resolution explaining to us the many different opportunities that you offer. We also met Robb McCreary the hotel director of Talking Stick Resort & Casino it was an honor to meet him and thank you for allowing us to take a picture with you!! This overall experience was fantastic for it was my first time attending this event as a very great experience talking to everybody getting pictures with different people and I’m very glad that I was there to represent all of you!!! 😊

Dagot’ee, everyone,

On June 6th, I had the chance to attend and serve as the MC for the Harvesting Hope Drug Prevention Education event. This event touched our hearts in different ways, including hearing from Monica Magoon, the president and founder of the Sara. K, speak about how she lost her daughter and does not want anyone else to go through the pain that’s she had to go through, giving us the best speech. If you are struggling with drugs or alcohol addiction It’s okay to ask for help there are plenty of people and resources that can help and support you. Because you’re not alone in this world people are willing to help you get back on the right path!! And our guest speaker Stephanie Siete gave us a powerful speech on how drug and phone addiction should be addressed for our youth. She shows her passion and shows how much she wants to help and be there for the youth. I agree with her. A lot of kids are being bullied and taken advantage of all around the world, we don’t want this for our youth. We want our kids and the youth to be safe, we don’t want any more kids to leave this earth without knowing that they can get help from us, being there for them. So parents I encourage you to check up on your children, ask them if they’re doing okay. I’ll take time for them to open up to you but they’ll get there. Want to give my thanks to Kathleen Eyre for allowing me to be your MC during that time, and to all the booths that have attended this event, and special thanks to the Sara K Foundation for being there and providing the raffle prizes, and thank you Louie Lorenzo and his youth singing group for singing us some songs for us.

Thank you

Dagot’éé everyone, on May 15th I had the opportunity to be the MC for the Seven-Mile Wash Headstart graduation. I am super proud of these little children and our next generation. The Head Start children first step in their education. And I want to thank the parents as well because their unconditional love and support will continue throughout their children’s lives because parents you guys are the role models of your kids' futures. And you all will go above and beyond for them when they get older and you all deserve so much more!! And later that afternoon, I got to attend the San Carlos Apache College graduation it was a great and beautiful graduation as always congratulations to the graduates. You all did it, you made a big accomplishment in your life, all the late-night studying, all those times you had to skip activities to do assignments, and making sure you submitted them on time. You all did it. And I’m so so proud of every one of you but this isn’t where your education stops. Keep reaching for that degree, keep reaching for what your heart desires, keep reaching for your dreams, keep going!! Thank you and once again, congratulations graduates!!! 🎊

2011-2012 Miss San Carlos Apache Walks On.

The Miss San Carlos Apache Pageant Committee mourns the loss of Desirae Bernice Rambler, who served as Miss San Carlos Apache 2011-2012 and second attendant to Miss Indian Arizona 2012-2013, had made her journey on Sunday, April 26, 2026 in Tucson, AZ.

When Desirae competed in the pageant, she captivated the audience by singing an Apache song in honor of her ancestor John Rope, the first Apache buried in full military honors, and other Apache scouts. Desirae dominated in the pageant categories winning most of the awards including Best Essay, Best Traditional Dress, Miss Congeniality, and the coveted Miss San Carlos Apache crown. This was the first pageant she ever participated in.

During her reign, she represented the San Carlos Apache Tribe with incredible dignity, honor, and grace. She was semi fluent in the Apache language so she was able to connect with Apache elders but also revered working with the youth. She never hesitated to speak in public forums or sing Apache songs on the spot. She was remarkably poised and articulate, well beyond her years.

Desirae was Tugai Clan, born for Kiyaani Towering House Clan. Her maternal grandfather is Nadastoosin Tall Peaks Standing Up Clan. Her paternal grandfather is Tabahaa Edge Water Clan. Her Mother was the late Sandra Rambler, of Bylas, also a former Miss San Carlos Apache (1974-1975). Her father is Johnny Chee.

The San Carlos Apache Pageant Committee extends our condolences to Desirae’s siblings, nieces, nephews, and the rest of her family, the San Carlos Apache community, and all those that knew and loved her.

Her family will receive guests at an all night wake beginning Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. at the Rambler Home in the Mt. Turnbull Subdivision #340 in Bylas, AZ. Desirae’s funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, May 3, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Stanley Hall in Bylas, AZ. To reach the family please call (928) 961-0603.

Dagot’ee everyone,

Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to attend the Gathering of Nations, “The Last Dance,” in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Since this was my very first time visiting Albuquerque for the Gathering of Nations and it was my last, I made sure to enjoy every moment. I was amazed to meet so many royalties from different states, and seeing them represent their Tribes and where they come from showed me how much they enjoy what they do—getting to see our royalties be there like Miss San Carlos Apache College, Miss Mt Turnbull, Miss Fort Thomas High School, and Lil Missy Mt Turnbull, representing our Tribe at the last Gatheing of Nations. It was a great honor to meet Miss Indian World, to see her video about how much being Miss Indian World changed her physically and mentally, and how much she enjoyed it. The Pagesnt committee mention over 900 young ladies competed for the tittle of Miss Indian World over the 43 years. And also getting to see the former Miss Indian worlds and how much they enjoyed being at the Last Dance.

I got an interviewed with Jr Miss and Miss White Mountain Apache Princess you know one question that stood out to me that they asked me was that “Are you sad that this is the last Gathering of Nations” and I told them that ” I am but this isn’t gonna be the last one for sure you know, this isn’t gonna be the last time you’re gonna be seeing a lot of Tribal Nations showing off their talents in dancing Powwow. There is gonna be a new one because a lot of people love seeing different cultures, different nations coming together, different tribes coming together, seeing this gathering of nations, this is what brings us together in one whole, as native people, and seeing them do what makes your heart happy! This isn’t gonna be the end.” And it’s true. This powwow really showed me how much these native people love doing what they do. And it really showed me how much they have a passion for their culture, as I do—getting there to represent my tribe, representing all of you that’re reading this, and getting to learn how to do the Gourd Dance and the meaning behind it. Thank you to our San Carlos Apache Veteran Powwow Princess, Nana Dodge for teaching me. The Powwow was really special and I’m very grateful that I got to be there and represent the San Carlos Apache tribe! Thank you President of the Queen Committe Jonell Robertson for checking in and making sure I was on time and making sure I was taken care of. Also family and friends for helping make this trip happen. Without your support, donations and love I wouldn't be able to travel and show pride as your Queen. 👑

Dagot’ee everyone,

Over the weekend, I got the opportunity to attend the 37th annual ASU Powwow and the Mrs. & Mr. Indigenous ASU pageant!! They were both such fun and amazing events that I got to attend too, and to represent my Tribe. It was amazing to see tribal royalties representing their tribes. The Powwow was amazing, seeing all the dancers from different Tribes from Arizona and out of the state, and seeing what makes their hearts happy. And the Mr. & Mrs. Indigenous ASU Pageant was amazing as always. All the contestants did an amazing job; they had great talent and beautiful traditional and modern attire.

Congratulations to the Newly Crowned Mrs. Indigenous ASU, Candice Joe

Congratulations to the newly elected Mr. Indigenous ASU Zander Thomas

Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Indigenous ASU 1st attendance, Wydell Slim and Evelyn Enos

Dagot’ee everyone,

Today I was invited to collaborate with our Jr. Miss, San Carlos Antonette Phillips for Autism Awareness month. The event was meaningful to both us since we both have a sibling who have some charactertics of autism. We both enjoyed this activitiy in support of children of Autism’s in our community. The event was hosted by San Carlos Healthcare at San Carlos Burdette Hall, and was beautiful event to see different booth present different ways to help and improve your child who has autism spectrum. Jr. Miss and I shared a booth. We had a section for sensory toys, and we gave reasons why sensory toys work for children with austism. We provided goodies like stickers, bracelets, keychains, pens, books, and sweet treats Research and studies shows autism is a very common condition in young kids and late development. Our community and families need to focus on more on our kids voices and it was so nice to hear other parents at our booth talk about what they had to go through having them ask us questions and asking us for tips and hearing their feedback on what they’ve researched on autism this is not something that you shouldn’t be afraid of but focus on how can understand autism . Your voice matters and if your family needs resources do not be afraid to ask the local hospital and your child teachers or First Things First and U of A exentension office for materials to help your beauitful children. Thank you!!

Dagot’éé everyone, on April 2, 2026, I attended the San Carlos Apache College pageant. It was such a beautiful and nice pageant. It was so nice to see other royalties (my Sash sisters!!) come all the way down to support the contestants!! Both of the contestants did very well. They both wore amazing business attire and traditional attire, and they were both beautiful. I’m so proud of the contestants for trying out for the Miss San Carlos Apache College. Thank you, Mike Kim, for inviting me and for the honor of providing entertainment for the college. I did the lightning song for them. I want to congratulate Lorena Cosen for being the first annual Miss San Carlos Apache College Queen. She did an outstanding job representing the college, sharing her memorable moments throughout the year.
But most importantly, she represented the tribe: beauty, confidence, leadership, and independence. I give her so much respect and support for what she did for the college, and I wish her nothing but the best for her future. May God guide her throughout her life.

Congratulations to Kiyasha Harvey for being the 2nd annual Miss San Carlos Apache College 2026-2027, and congratulations to Rhianna dude for being the first attendant Miss San Carlos Apache College 2026- 2027. I wish you nothing but the best as you start this new chapter and journey this year. Hope to see you guys at the upcoming events. Make sure you represent the college and the community with bravery because you two are making a difference in our community, and I’m very happy for you, young ladies, and be a part of the SCAC pageant.

Thank you

Dagotéé, everyone, today, on March 29, 2026, Jr Miss San Carlos Apache Antonette Phillips and I had an Easter Event. At our event, we had a chance to hand out Easter baskets to all the children. We host a cake walk and a coloring station, and we were raffling off Easter egg baskets. And, most fun of all, we did an egg hunt. It was so nice to see all the little kids from the San Carlos community having so much fun at our event, smiling and laughing; it really brought our hearts joy! I want to thank those who have donated to this event.

Photo created to embrysflicks for capturing theses amazing moments thank you!

But remember the reason why we celebrate Easter! It's the day Jesus rose and saved us from our sins! Antonette and I both attended Peridot Lutheran, as it says in the book of Matthew.
Matthew 26:6 “He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.”
Thank you once again to everyone who came out. Hope you have a blessed week!

Dagotéé everyone, on March 20, I attended an event at the U of A extension center. I was an event for little kids ages 0 to 5, and it was so nice to see the young kids get to do a few activities with us! They got to make their butterflies and bracelets and do other fun activities. I had my own booth at this event, where the little kids would pick out a flower, cut it out, and decorate it however they wanted. It was so nice to interact with the young youth, seeing how creative they can be at this age, hearing their laughter, and seeing them having fun; it was so amazing. Thank you to Melody Thomas for inviting me to the event and getting to interact with our Apache children on our San Carlos Apache tribe. Ahíyi’é
