Do you like kids? Are you a good tutor/mentor? Peninsula Young Writers is looking for more Counselors-in-Training for summer camp Session 3, June 25-29, 2018, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

• Learn valuable leadership skills
• Work with an enthusiastic counselor and staff team
• Enjoy helping campers create stories and poems
• Participate in a fascinating field trip to Shoreway Environmental Center
• Earn volunteer hours for school credit

Join us for 2018 Peninsula Young Writers Summer Camp Sessions 1 and 3 "Writing Rubbish"

Take a field trip to Shoreway Environmental Center in San Carlos to learn about recycling and reusing “rubbish.” Write story with an ecological theme or inspired by your own imagination.

Try different kinds of poems from free verse to rhyme. At the end of the week, all campers design and publish their very own book.

Peninsula Young Writers has a few spots open for campers ages 8-14 in Session 4, July 10-14, 9 am to 3 pm and Session 5 pm, July 17-21 1 to 4 pm.

All campers write and "publish" their own book of stories and poems. In Session 4 we go on a field trip to Hiller Aviation Museum and in Session 5 we write and solve mysteries. Join us!
