💜 This week, Rolling Start Inc. proudly joined advocates from across California at Disability Leadership Alliance Day at the California State Capitol.

Our advocate, Anna, stood alongside disability leaders, community organizations, and allies to ensure the voices of people with disabilities are represented where decisions are being made. From protecting Medi-Cal and IHSS services to advocating for accessible mental health care, housing support, and critical community programs, these conversations directly impact the lives of the people we serve every day.

Advocacy matters because disability rights are human rights and representation at the Capitol helps make sure our community is not left out of policies that shape California’s future.

We’re honored to stand beside incredible leaders in the disability community, including Lisa Hayes of CFILC and Ms. Wheelchair America 2022, Christine Burke, as we continue working toward equity, accessibility, independence, and dignity for all. ♿💜
