The Canine Caregivers family is heartbroken to share the passing of beloved therapy dog Addie. 💔🐾

For many years, Addie served as a volunteer in our community, bringing love, comfort, and light to everyone who had the joy of knowing her. She and her mom, Marty, were one of the founding teams of Canine Caregivers, and their incredible partnership has inspired countless therapy dog teams who followed.

Addie leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love and service that will continue to touch our community for years to come. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. ❤️

Please join us in keeping Marty and Addie’s family in your thoughts as they navigate this difficult loss. 🐾

This July, we celebrated the birthday of one of our beloved four-legged team members—Murphy the Therapy Dog! 🐾❤️

Seven years ago, Murphy was adopted from the Rowan County Animal Shelter, and this year we're celebrating both his 10th birthday and his Happy Gotcha Day! As a full-time staff member at the Terrie Hess Child Advocacy Center, Murphy brings comfort, joy, and countless smiles to the children and families he serves.

Dogs remind us that love, kindness, and a wagging tail can make all the difference. Please join us in wishing our very good boy a Happy Gotcha Day and a wonderful birthday! 🐶💙
