💔💔 Today Pam and Joe lost one of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever known. Chester had been through hell and back when I got him from the Shelter…. but he could not have been any kinder, or more gentle, or more sweet. Chester never held his past against one single human being. He loved all people and spent many years with his Veteran owner Joe as a Canine Caregivers therapy dog visiting at the VA hospital and all types of places. Everyone that knew Chester loved him. There was no way you couldn’t.
Please say a prayer for Joe and Pam, and anyone that knew Chester to find the peace that Chester would want them to have. Please throw a prayer in there for me too, because Chester was definitely special. Chester will be waiting on us when we get there…💔

🐾 With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Chester, a beloved member of the Canine Caregivers Therapy Dogs family. Chester brought comfort, joy, and unconditional love to those fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the paw prints he left on so many hearts. ❤️

Run free, sweet Chester. 🌈
