Happy 102nd Birthday to Dr. Jessie Fleming! 🎉🎂

Dr. Fleming helped shape SU’s music program during her tenure and mentored generations of music students. A tremendous impact that inspired the Dr. Jessie Fleming Family Music Scholarship. At 102, Dr. Fleming reminds us that legacy is not measured simply in years, but in lives touched along the way.

Her dedication to students continues to create opportunities for Sea Gulls, carrying her passion for music and education into the future.

🎉 Today, we proudly welcome our three newest Board members: Jonathan Holloway, Dr. Suellen Vickers, and Susan Wilgus-Murphy ‘96 to our group. We are excited to have them join the SU Foundation's Board of Directors.

Salisbury University Exercise Science students recently returned from the 2026 ACSM Annual Meeting in Salt Lake City, where they gained valuable knowledge, networking opportunities, and research experience. Students attended presentations from leading researchers, supported the Quiz Bowl competition, connected with alumni and graduate programs, and explored future career paths.

The group also enjoyed a special visit to the University of Utah, including a hike to Ensign Peak, research presentations on current exercise science topics, tours of cutting-edge biochemistry labs, and discussions with faculty researchers. The trip concluded with Dr. Mazzetti's presentation on SU's energy expenditure studies. Thank you to everyone whose support made this incredible learning experience possible for our students!
