Meet Our New Lower Shore Director! Matt McGinnis has over 20 years of experience leading athletic programs. He has served as Athletic Director at Delmarva Christian School, Worcester Preparatory School, and Salisbury University. He currently leads 25 sports programs at DCS, guiding coaches and student‑athletes to reach their full potential.
Previously, Matt directed athletics at Worcester Prep, overseeing 30 middle and upper school teams and helping elevate the program into an ESIAC contender.
He began his administrative career as Associate Athletic Director at Salisbury University, supporting a powerhouse NCAA Division III program that captured 30 national and 140 conference championships.
A former head men’s lacrosse coach at Denison University, Matt led the team to three NCAA appearances and two NCAC titles. Having been a national trainer with USA Lacrosse, he is passionate about developing coaches and teaching biblical leadership. Matt lives in Salisbury, MD with his wife, Lauren, and stepson, Kyle.

Guided Denison University men’s lacrosse to three NCAA Tournament appearances, two NCAC titles, and earned NCAC Coach of the Year honors.
Serves as a national trainer with USA Lacrosse, mentoring coaches and promoting biblically grounded coaching principles across the country.
