Congratulations to our seniors who earned their State Degrees yesterday at the 5th Session of State Convention! And an extra shout out to Nathan Dubnicki who earned a Silver level State Degree, representing his extensive involvement and great record keeping over the last 4 years!

Congratulations to all of our Proficiency Award Recipients! These are awards given based on the quality of a student’s Supervised Agricultural Experience and the records that they keep for that SAE. This year we had 15 different members earn a collective 16 Proficiency Awards: 3 bronze, 6 silver, and 7 gold!

2025 alumni, William Rogers, gave an amazing Retiring Address from his position as 2025-2026 Michigan FFA State Vice President this evening. We’re so proud of you, William, and can’t wait to watch you and your team lead the rest of a successful State Convention!

Today was an exciting day as our Botany students were able to complete the first harvest of their vegetables and herbs that they have been growing and caring for in our new Vertical NFT hydroponic systems!

Students were able to harvest lettuce, spinach, dill, basil, and cilantro that we are planning to donate to the Saline/SWWC Culinary Arts program for use in their classes. Our students are excited to continue this project throughout the rest of the school year, as their plants will continue to grow and develop while being harvested periodically.

We are also incredibly thankful to Domino's Pizza for providing us with the donation that allowed us to purchase these new hydroponic systems last spring. We appreciate the support that allows our students to have these amazing hands-on experiences!

Last night we hosted Region II Leadership Contests here at Saline High School, as well as had 13 members compete in 5 different contests! All of our teams and individuals placed in the top 4 for their contests, and we had two students place in the top 2, meaning they will be moving on to compete at State Convention next month!

We would like to congratulate all of our members who competed last night, we are proud of all the hard work they have put in to practice for their contests! We would like to thank Domino's Pizza for graciously donating pizza to feed all the students, advisors, and volunteers last night. We would also like to thank the Washtenaw Ag Boosters and all of our volunteers who served as judges, timekeepers, and room monitors during the contests. We couldn't host an event like this without all of your support, we are so grateful for you all!

If you see Emma Moore or Charlie Bever between now and March 4th, wish them luck as they prepare to compete in their speaking contests at the state level!

Congratulations to all 16 of our members who competed in District Leadership Contests this past Thursday! We are incredibly proud of all of you for stepping out of your comfort zones and representing Saline FFA.

13 of these students, 3 individuals and 2 teams, placed 1st or 2nd in their contests and will be moving on to compete at Regional Leadership Contests on February 11th, hosted by us at Saline High School! Wish them good luck!

Our 38th Annual Farm Toy Show is TODAY! A little cold isn’t stopping anything for us, we’ll still be here at Liberty School for the Pancake Breakfast starting at 8am, show opening at 9am, and Pedal Pull starting at 11am! Come see us!

Along with all of our toy vendors selling their goods, the Washtenaw Ag Boosters will be hosting their Pancake Breakfast, we will have Pedal Tractor Pulls for ALL ages courtesy of Michigan Pedal Pullers, there will be 50/50 raffles drawn every hour & the WAB will be selling tickets for the annual Michigan FFA Alumni Gator Raffle!
