Hi there! As I prepare to start collecting items for the next swap in May, I’m in need of more storage totes for storing and transporting clothes, shoes, and accessories. If you have any that you’re able to donate please let me know! Thank you in advance!

I’m excited to announce that Big Blue Bargains (a nonprofit thrift store in Swampscott) is graciously allowing me to store clothing with them between swaps. This will allow me to collect more donations and also help individuals between events! Please check them out and feel free to reach out if you have any children’s clothing that you’re ready to pass along. I’m so excited to expand my reach and continue to support my community with free clothing!

If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, Big Blue Bargains is having a fill-a-bag event and 100% of proceeds will be donated to the food pantry in Swampscott! They’re also still looking for volunteers to help with the event. Anyone who volunteers receives 25% off their purchase on the day they volunteer!

Salem Kids’ Clothing Swap is a semi-annual swap where local families can shop for free, pre-loved clothing for their children. Events rely on donations from community members and there are no requirements or fees to attend! We have had two successful events so far, in June at Deacon Giles and in October at Espacio. We look forward to our next event this spring!
