The Alliance is dedicated to promoting the acceptance and understanding of the LGBTQIAS community on campus and in the area. We have become a resource to the greater Salem State University area, offering ourselves and our knowledge with the hopes to enlighten others. We focus our attention to the students of Salem State University but have never been limited to them. We have branched out from bein

g a social collective to providing education and political activism in Massachusetts. Meetings are Thursdays 5-7 in the Metro room located in the Ellison Campus Center

Attention all Seniors! If you want to participate in our annual Lavender Ceremony, please bring your attention to the link in our Linktree, or by scanning the QR Code! This will allow you to reserve a lavender stole of your own. Don’t want to be in the ceremony? You can still pick one up during our office hours! Stoles are first come first serve, and responders who receive a stole will be notified via email.

To everyone else, the ceremony will take place on April 27th, 5:00 to 7:00 pm in Vet’s Hall. Come celebrate our graduates! 💜

We’re looking forward to the show tomorrow, but make sure to keep these guidelines in mind before interacting with the performers! Making sure our performers have a safe and welcoming experience makes Raspberry Swirl a fun event not just for out campus community, but the greater Salem community as a whole.

Make sure to tip your performers and be polite! If you’re not sure where to get cash, there are ATMs at many nearby stores such as CVS and Big Apple, as well as an Eastern Bank ATM in the Bertolon School of Business.

Featured in RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 15, Salina Estitties is based in Los Angeles, California, and deeply committed to sparking joy both the Los Angeles drag scene and sober communities. In her pursuit of activism and advocacy, Salina has partnered with organizations such as the AIDS Life Cycle x LGBT Center of Los Angeles and the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles.

We will be having none other than Miz Diamond Wigfall at Swirl this year!

Miz Diamond is known in and around Salem for a variety of different events on her itinerary, from makeup classes to drag brunch. Most notably, she has her own weekly show at Gulu Gulu every Sunday. Be sure to tune into Diamond’s Dine In w/ DJ Maxine Harrison from 2-4 pm! Miz Diamond features a number of local performers from all over, so you don’t wanna miss it!
