Edgewater Partners is meeting tomorrow, Thursday Aug 27th from 9 to 11am at the same place--Northwest Human Services' Edgewater Clinic. NOTE DIFFERENT START TIME

We are holding what is called a "LISTENING SESSION". Your voice is important to be heard. We will have the leadership of Salem Leadership Foundation with us to talk about plans and budgets going forward. How we reach out and engage our community. How we expand our neighborhood footprint. How we include more neighbors and businesses. Expanding our partnerships. What we are looking to be now and into the future.

I say again---Your Voice Is Important--We want all to attend.

Edgewater Partners is alive & well. We are set to shape a wonderful future in our community. We want to invite you and others to our table.

West Salem Peace Walk reconvenes this Thursday at 7pm starting on Edgewater Street across from Annette’s Restaurant on the greenway. Please join us to appreciate the beauty of our neighborhood as we walk a mile together pausing, observing -and for those who would like- to pick up trash. All supplies provided.

About the work we're doing

We're starting work on Monday, July 20 to change the OR 99W and Bethel Road intersection.

We're adding left-hand turn lanes for both northbound and southbound traffic on OR 99W and realigning the east side of Bethel Road at the intersection.

What to expect
Bethel Road east of OR 99W to close with a signed detour starting on July 20 for about three weeks.
Expect a signed detour to get around the closure.
Lane and shoulder closures as needed:
Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Construction noise, debris and delays.
