Fun times!
Some of the dogs and their people enjoyed an outing Saturday! Thanks so much to Nancy, Rob and Cherry for hosting a swim party for the pups and a BBQ for the humans!

Sunday July 19, Muddy Paws will offer a chance for dogs and their people to try flyball! We’ll have activities for dogs to try, as well as ideas for people to do at home to help their pups get ready to play!
Classes for new dogs start in September, but this gives you a chance to see what it’s all about.

Tournament Week is Almost Here! 🐾

Here's what to expect for the week:
🚫 Sunday, July 5: No class or practice.

📍 Tournament Location: Jackman Long Building at the Oregon State Fairgrounds (near 17th St. SE).

🛠 Wednesday, July 8 (10:00 a.m.): Help unload the tournament mats from the trailer and tape the edges of our four new mats.

🛠 Thursday, July 9 (10:00 a.m.): Main setup day! We'll be laying mats, setting up backstops and tables, taping crating areas, covering glass doors, and putting together raffle baskets. Many hands make light work! Pizza is usually provided—please bring your own drinks.

🎉 Friday, July 10 (11:00 a.m.): Final setup before demonstrations begin. Public demos and kids' flyball races are at 12:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., with practice time available in between. Friday Night Racing starts at 5:00 p.m.

🏁 Saturday & Sunday, July 11–12: Racing all day! Please arrive:
Saturday: 7:30–8:00 a.m.
Sunday: 7:00–7:30 a.m.

We'll need volunteers throughout the weekend, so if you can spare some time, we'd love your help.
If this is your first tournament, don't hesitate to ask questions—we're happy to help and can't wait to have you join us! 💙

Class and practice canceled

Muddy Paws will not have class or practice Sunday; too hot for dogs!
Next club practice is June 21 in Turner. Next class is June 28 at Polk County fairgrounds in Rickreall.

Big shoutout to our awesome crew, Muddy Paws Mudder Puppers, for snagging 1st place at the May Madness Tournament in Abbotsford!
All that hard work, hustle, and team energy really came through. We’re so proud of this win, and hoping for many more in the future!

Congratulations to Diane and Elvis for their perfect start! When the timer went to 0.00, someone thought the clock wasn’t working, but it was right! We’re having fun, racking up points, and winning races in Abbotsford, British Columbia.

Heads up! Time Change!!

Flyball practice and class are at Polk County Fairgrounds in Rickreall on April 12 and April 19. Setup at 3 pm, class at 4 pm with practice to follow.
