🇺🇸 Bruce Starr was our program today. Bruce, a Republican, is the state senator for Yamhill and Polk Counties (excluding West Salem). His topic was an update of the recent short session of the Oregon legislature.

West Salem Rotary had a fantastic evening at our Smoke & Mirrors 1920s-themed event featuring the incredible Finn the Magician! ✨🎩
A huge thank you to everyone who came out dressed to impress and supported our club. Thanks to your generosity, we raised thousands of dollars that will directly benefit local student scholarships, teacher grants, and other important community initiatives.
We are grateful for the continued support of our community and look forward to making an even greater impact together. Thank you for helping make this event such a success!

🎓2026 scholarship interviews wrapped up last week, and we were blown away by the incredible group of young students who applied this year. Choosing our scholarship recipients was no easy task with such an outstanding pool of candidates. Scholarships will be awarded next week. Congratulations to all of our scholarship winners!

📍At last week’s meeting, we hosted a panel of candidates running for Polk County Commissioner Board positions 2 and 3. They answered a series of questions and shared their plans and priorities for how their campaigns would impact our community.
