Thank you to the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum for helping make the Boat Parade such a memorable finale to St. Michaels' celebration of our town's, county's, and nation's 250th anniversaries. From start (with our concert in Muskrat Park featuring the USNA's Electric Brigade) to finish, the weekend showcased the pride, patriotism, and community spirit that make our town so special.

A special shout-out goes to Bob Vitale, one of the organizers of the Boat Parade, whose dedication helped bring this event to life. We're also grateful for his wife, Janice, who is not only the talented baker behind so many of the treats enjoyed at SMCC meals and events, but also one of our volunteer superstars.

Thank you to everyone who participated, cheered from the shoreline, decorated their boats, and helped celebrate our shared history and bright future. What a fantastic day to honor our flag, our community, and the Chesapeake traditions that bring us together!

A big thank you to the St. Michaels Boat Parade Committee for donating proceeds from the sale of the St. Michaels 250th Anniversary burgees to both CBMM and the St. Michaels Community Center.

The Flag Day Celebration was a fantastic way to kick off the summer season, bringing our community together along the waterfront for a day full of pride, fun, and connection.

We're grateful to Robert Vitale and the committee for their generosity and for helping make this special community event possible!

Just like our previous concerts, yesterday was a wonderful evening in the park! 🎶

A huge thank you to JCT 33 for an outstanding performance at this week’s Concert in the Park. We are especially grateful for their generosity in donating their performance fee back to the
St. Michaels Community Center to support our programs and services. ❤️

We’d also like to recognize our amazing Concert Princess, Meadow, who did a fantastic job helping make the evening extra special!

Thank you to our dedicated volunteers, Maria Flynn, Conor Prochaska, and Andrew Guido (behind the concession stand 😊), for helping everything run smoothly. With just over 200 people joining us in Muskrat Park, it was another great night of music, community, and summer fun.

Be sure to join us next Thursday as we welcome Christian Yeager Music to the stage for another evening of live music by the waterfront!

We wanted to give a special shout-out to our Youth Coordinator, Amy Moore DeWitt, and her daughter, Rylie, who participated in Tuesday’s Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics in downtown Easton - with the Easton - MD Police Department! 🏃🔥

The annual Torch Run brings together law enforcement officers, athletes, families, and supporters to carry the “Flame of Hope” and raise awareness for Special Olympics Maryland
athletes across Maryland.

Rylie is competing in swimming, and we’ll be cheering her on as she represents our community this season. 💙🏊‍♀️

Way to go, Amy and Rylie—we’re so proud of you both!
