The pumpkins arrived today - special delivery from Chief of St. Michaels MD Police Department Jeff Oswald! Today, we’re excited to welcome the St. Michaels Art League as they install their Eastern Shore Wildlife & Heritage exhibit at St. Michaels Community Center! 🖼️

Featuring locally created artwork by members of the St. Michaels Art League, this special Waterfowl Festival exhibit celebrates the natural beauty, wildlife, and rich heritage that make our community so unique. All artwork will be available for purchase!

St. Michaels Community Center and the Rotary Club of St. Michaels invite you to join us on Wednesday, November 11th, from 9 am - 11 am as we honor and remember the brave men and women who have served our country. ❤️🤍💙

Enjoy a FREE breakfast as we come together in gratitude and recognize the sacrifices of our veterans. Everyone is welcome, and registration is preferred!

Make sure to stop by the community center Saturday between 9 am - 2 pm for some Fall Festivities including Pumpkin/Face Painting with SMYLE - St. Michaels Youth & Law Enforcement/St. Michaels MD Police Department & our Pumpkin Baking Contest where you can check out the competition and we will have desserts for sale!

Proceeds will support FOLKS (Feeding Our Local Kids & Seniors) and their efforts to combat hunger in Talbot County. 💙

Free Meal Program for Royal Oak & Bellevue Residents! 📢

The St. Michaels Community Center is dedicated to serving our neighbors! We are offering free, nutritious meals to residents of Royal Oak and Bellevue. 🥗💙

We currently deliver to the Royal Oak Community UMC on Monday evenings, and we are excited to announce plans to transition to regular Monday, Wednesday, and Friday deliveries around 1 pm! 🚚💨

We currently prepare 160 meals three times a week and deliver about 100 of them—and yes, all meals are completely free! Our commitment to serving the entire Bay Hundred community is stronger than ever.

Help make this winter a little warmer for local students and families! Talbot County Public Schools is hosting a Community Blanket Drive to collect NEW blankets for TCPS students and families in need.

This is happening throughout October (from the 1st to the 29th)!

Drop-off locations for the drive include:
- The Village Maternal Holistic Wellness Center
- Royal Oak Community UMC
- Perkins Family YMCA (St. Michaels YMCA)
- St. Michaels Community Center (that's us! 🤗)
- Talbot County Education Center
- Brookletts Place - Talbot Senior Center

The blankets will be distributed in November at the CarePacks Food Distribution and as needed throughout the community.

A small donation can make a big difference. Help us wrap our community in care! 💙🧣

And don't forget our other Fall events this October!

There will be Pumpkin Decorating & Face Painting on Saturday, October 17th from 11 am to 1 pm! Hosted by the St. Michaels MD Police Department / SMYLE - St. Michaels Youth & Law Enforcement here at SMCC 🧡✨ 🎃 🎨

Come decorate, paint, laugh, and let your creativity run wild! Pumpkins & decorating supplies will be provided, as well as treats for all participants 😁

Then join us for Trunk or Treat in collaboration with the team from Shore United Bank (St. Michaels branch)! 🍬 🚗

Check out the decorated cars, enjoy some treats, and vote for your favorite in the People's Choice Award given to the best trunk!

The date is set for Thursday, October 29th from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm (Rain date: Friday, October 30th) at the St. Michaels Elementary School, 100 Seymour Ave., St. Michaels, MD 21663 🏫
