This Saturday is our sale!! 🌞🎉😍

Gardeners, this one is for you. 🌸
The Bayshore Iris Society, an affiliate of the American Iris Society, is bringing their annual Iris Rhizome Sale to the Easton Farmers Market this Saturday, September 5th. Originally scheduled for an earlier date, the sale was rescheduled due to rain. And now it is finally here at the perfect moment, early September is ideal timing to get iris in the ground for spectacular spring blooms.

Here is what they will have: rhizomes ready to plant, reblooming iris cultivars, surprise iris at fabulous prices (gorgeous but unknown cultivar, a true gardener's lucky dip), and limited newer AIS releases that are hard to find anywhere else. Growing instructions will be provided, and they accept credit cards, checks, and cash.

This is a one-day opportunity right alongside everything else that makes the Easton Farmers Market worth your Saturday morning. Come for the iris. Stay for the market.

Something a little unexpected is coming to the Easton Farmers Market this Saturday and gardeners are going to love it! 🌸
The Bayshore Iris Society , an affiliate of the American Iris Society, is holding their annual Iris Rhizome Sale right at the market on Saturday, August 22nd. This is a wonderful opportunity to add something stunning and perennial to your garden before the fall planting window closes.

Here is what they will have:

Our Iris Society president, Terry, is growing this striking iris variety called 'Black As Night' and to the eye, it’s almost jet black in color. 🖤

Iris season is here! Join us tomorrow, May 8th, from 1–3 PM for our upcoming "Happy Birthday America" Iris Show at the Talbot County Free Library.

Happy New Year! Our holiday event was held at VFW post #5118 in Easton, Maryland.

President Pat Canute summarized the year of events, highlighting our newly acquired Best in Show trophy with new plaques of best in show winners:
Ed and Pat McNeal 5/4/24 “The BIS Derby- Run of the Irises” - ‘Golden Princess’
and Becky Riti 5/3/25 Iris Show: “Fiesta!” - ‘Presby's Crown Jewel’

A new slate of officers was voted in for 2026 term:
President Terry Holman,
Vice President Norma Lynch,
Treasurer John Iwanski, and
Secretary Becky Riti

A delicious buffet was enjoyed after a party game and a gift exchange.
