Our hearts are heavy as we remember the one and only Dolly Parton. ❤️

At this year’s Buck Barras Memorial Foundation Masked Singer, our 2nd Masked Singer winner, Harley Melancon — better known as the Golden Goose — joined BBMF President Logan Verret on stage for a special rendition of Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers’ classic, “Islands in the Stream.”

At the time, it was simply a fun and unforgettable moment from an incredible night. Today, this photo and that performance mean just a little bit more.

Dolly’s music brought joy to generations, but her legacy went far beyond the stage. Her kindness, generosity, and commitment to helping others touched millions of lives — a spirit that we at BBMF deeply admire.

We’re grateful we had the chance to celebrate a small piece of her incredible musical legacy on our stage.

Rest in peace, Dolly. 🤍

A ring was found at the Masked Singer event and we’d love to get it back to its owner!

There is engraved wording inside the ring. To claim it, you must correctly identify what is engraved inside.

What an incredible night at the 3rd Annual Buck Barras Memorial Foundation Masked Singer! We can finally officially reveal the five people who were behind the masks!

A HUGE thank you to all five of our contestants for stepping completely outside of their comfort zones, keeping these secrets, putting on a show, and helping make this event so much fun. After an incredible night of performances, clues, surprises, and plenty of guessing, Da Mask has been crowned the 2026 Buck Barras Memorial Foundation Masked Singer WINNER! 🎉

And the person behind the mask was none other than…

💚 JAMIE BARRAS! 💚

Jamie brought the energy, the personality, and one unforgettable performance to the Masked Singer stage — and tonight, the crowd made it official!

A HUGE thank you to Jamie and all five of our contestants for putting themselves out there, keeping the secrets, and helping make our 3rd Annual Masked Singer such an amazing night.

And most importantly, thank you to everyone who came out, voted, donated, cheered, and supported the Buck Barras Memorial Foundation. Every bit of the fun tonight helps us continue doing what this is all about — providing scholarships to students throughout Acadiana who have lost a parent. ❤️
