🍏 Introducing a summer of food and fun with Mobile Rec! Kids & families are invited to a different park/play space every day of the week, June 22nd through August 7th, to pick up FREE bagged lunches and play outside!

☀️ Rain or shine, we'll be there to deliver lunches put together by our friends at The St. Johnsbury School Food Service program (in partnership with Hunger Free Vermont).

🥏 Unless there are thunderstorms, a trailer full of sports equipment will be available for open play! Thanks to a Summer Access Grant from Vermont Fitness and Sports, we have TONS of new equipment to share.

😎 And thanks to Vermont Department of Health we are also able to offer FREE sunscreen through the VT Community Sunscreen Dispenser Program.

🙌 We couldn't have put this together without support from our partners ... THANK YOU. We look forward to passing the support onto our community this summer. Let's Get Out & PLAY, St. J!

Come on down to this summer’s first Final Friday event with Discover St. Johnsbury, next week, Friday, 6/26 from 5-8pm on Railroad St. This year’s Final Friday events each feature a theme and June’s theme is “Rhythm & Ride”, celebrating the connection between outdoor recreation and the creative arts.

🎨 Visit us under the Rec tent for ‘Rock the Bike’ Spin Art! We’ll also have some fun ideas and decorations for you to take home and put on your own bike so you can join the Bike Parade on July 4th as part of St. Johnsbury’s Celebration of America’s 250th Birthday.

🎉 More info on the Bike Parade in the comments!

Hey, what does the ’Rhythm & Ride’ theme actually mean for next week’s St. J Final Fridays? It means we know that outdoor recreation and creativity are linked, and that’s worth celebrating!

We have SO many great resources in our community to get you biking and boogie-ing this season, and many of them will be represented at the street fair.

Don’t miss:
🚲 Bike Valet Service from Ticket to Ride (translation: supervised bike parking!)
🚲 Bespoke Spoke Cards from local artist Cloe Ashton
🚲 Guided Gravel Ride with NEK Gravel
🚲 Learn to Ride instruction for kids from Ticket to Ride
🚲 Bike Spin Art and July 4th Bike Parade Decorations from Town of St. Johnsbury Recreation Department
🚲 Rail Trail Ambassador information and giveaways from Vermont Agency of Transportation
… plus lots more, including live music, kids activities, free art, goodies, and delicious food. All free, just like usual. 🤗

Catamount Film and Arts brings the ‘Rhythm’ with the incredible Brass Queens opening the first LevittAMP St. Johnsbury concert of the season 🙌
