Honoured and Deeply Grateful.

I am truly honoured to have been recognised by Barr. Seyi Tinubu for my contribution to the CityBoy Movement, particularly for our grassroots activities and engagement in Darazo LGA, Bauchi State.

This recognition is both encouraging and motivating. It further strengthens my commitment to taking the movement closer to the people, building stronger grassroots structures, engaging our communities, and promoting the vision of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

As we look towards 2027, I remain committed to mobilising, engaging and canvassing support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima.

The work continues. The commitment remains strong. Community by community, ward by ward, we will keep building.

Beyond Mobilization, We Are Building Lasting Connections.
The past few days have provided another valuable opportunity to take the City Boy Movement closer to the people and strengthen our connection with communities at the grassroots.
Across Sade District and surrounding communities in Darazo LGA, Bauchi State, I engaged directly with residents, community leaders, local stakeholders, youths, and our grassroots coordinators—listening to their perspectives, understanding their concerns, and sharing the vision of a stronger, more inclusive and well-connected movement.
These engagements continue to reinforce one important lesson: meaningful grassroots development is not achieved in a day. It is built through presence, trust, genuine conversations, strong relationships, and consistent engagement with the people.
Our mission goes beyond registration and mobilization. We are working to build a structure where communities feel heard, young people are encouraged to participate, local voices are respected, and the message and opportunities of the Renewed Hope Agenda reach the people directly.
The real work continues beyond the cameras, beyond the gatherings, and beyond the headlines.
We are building stronger networks, deepening community participation, and creating lasting connections from the grassroots upward—one community, one ward, and one conversation at a time.
Days in the field.

Conversations with the people.

Stronger grassroots connections.

A stronger movement.
The journey continues.

TAKING THE MOVEMENT TO THE PEOPLE

The true strength of any movement is not measured only by its numbers, but by how deeply it connects with the people at the grassroots.

While on my way to Yobe State, I made a stop in Sade District, Darazo LGA, Bauchi State, where I joined our grassroots team for a community engagement, mobilization and registration exercise under the City Boy Movement.

It was an important opportunity to engage directly with residents, meet with community and local leaders, listen to their perspectives, and share the vision and purpose of our movement.

Grassroots engagement goes far beyond registration and mobilization. It is about building relationships, earning trust, listening to the people, creating awareness, and ensuring that communities are actively carried along in the conversation about national development and the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Our commitment remains firm: to strengthen our grassroots structures, expand community participation, and build a movement that is present, accessible and genuinely connected to the people.

We will continue to take the message to the grassroots — community by community, ward by ward, LGA by LGA.

The journey continues.

We listen. We engage. We mobilize. We build.

GRASSROOTS MOBILIZATION & REGISTRATION EXERCISE 🇳🇬

On my way to Yobe State, I made a purposeful stop across rural communities in Sade District, Darazo LGA, Bauchi State, to participate in a grassroots mobilization and registration exercise for the City Boy Movement.

The visit was more than registration and mobilization. It was an opportunity to connect directly with the people, listen to their voices, understand their concerns, and encourage greater participation in a movement built from the grassroots upward.

I also paid visits to community leaders, where we held meaningful discussions on the efforts of Mr. President and the programmes and initiatives being pursued under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

I strongly believe that genuine grassroots engagement must go beyond political mobilization. It must create a bridge between leadership and the people — a bridge built on communication, inclusion, understanding, and trust.

Our mission remains clear: take the movement to every community, strengthen our grassroots structures, expand participation, and build a united, coordinated network capable of carrying the message of Renewed Hope to the people.

From community to community, ward to ward, and LGA to LGA, we will keep moving, listening, engaging, registering, and mobilizing.

The grassroots are the foundation. The people are the strength. The movement continues.

Together, we mobilize.
Together, we grow.
Together, we build. 🇳🇬

The City Boy Movement has received with sadness the news of the passing of veteran actor and filmmaker, Alhaji Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, who died on Sunday at the age of 66.

For more than four decades, Ogogo was one of the defining faces of Yoruba cinema. Through hundreds of performances, he entertained generations of Nigerians while helping to carry our language, humour, traditions and stories from local stages and screens into homes across Nigeria and beyond.

His passing is a painful loss to his family, the creative industry, the people of Ilaro and Ogun State, and millions of Nigerians who grew up watching and admiring his work.

The City Boy Movement extends its heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, colleagues and the entire Nigerian film community at this difficult time.

We honour a man who gave much of his life to his craft and leaves behind a body of work that will keep his memory alive for generations.

May Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings, grant Alhaji Taiwo Hassan Al-Jannah Firdaus, and give his family the strength to bear this loss.

Signed
City Boy Movement
